Default My Monster ZZR1400 NINJA

Here are a few details on my monster:

2007 ZZR1400 Ninja
Unrestricted
Micron slip-ons
BMC filters
Carbon fibre cowl
GPR V4 Steering Damper
Butterfly valves - timing
Brand new tryes

When it was stockish, the huge power boost used to happen from 6k rpm. Now with the Butterfly valves timing, the power generation starts from 3k rpm. Insane

Nice machine. Would really appreciate if you share your experience with us, regarding this machine, vis-a-vis since how long have you been riding it, how many miles have you done on it, the handling, acceleration and other such tid-bits..

Not much of a writer mate, i've been riding the 14R since the last 10months. Done like 6k kms till date. Plenty of rides. In terms of handling, dam she feels like, your on a 600cc. Easy to manuver if u know how to, otherwise very difficult. Can easily get some awesome lean angles hence the conoring is very good even on high speeds. Very stable high some killer speeds. I've till now touched 284kmph on her. Waiting to hit the 200mph mark soon. Hence the enhancements. Acceleration on stock was killer, so now with the B'fly valve timing, she very quick & INSANE & extremely tough to catch

I have ridden on my Gixxer 1000 with insaneroller and the bike sounds real good with the microns on (without baffles)...kinda deep and throaty.

Dude thanks for the text...be careful out there...I fly outta Mumbai tomorrow.

Cheers!!

Jay.

Thanks for sharing this bit of information with us. One query which comes to my mind - what about service backup? Do you do the basic things like oil change, filter cleaning and stuff yourself or do you need to take the machine to some workshop? What kind of engine oil does this machine require (as in the grade), and which one do you use? How many litres?

Just curious to know the nitty gritties regarding this Ninja.

@busalover42, thanx buddy. Hope to see u back soon on ur monster

Dude, there's a very good workshop from where i had purchased it. Its called 7th Gear. They do all the service, changes etc etc. Otherwise alot of liquids i get from the Hyper Pro Centre along with advance settings etc. There's just too many things to get into for this beast. If stock was fastest in the World, think of what mine has become
