By the looks of it, it certainly looks seized vehicles, and I guess after certain period of time custom officials will sell them off to their relatives/friends etc at cheap prices.

manson.
manson i think you should think twice before saying anything.. i too buy stuffs from customs, auctions and all,, what you have mentioned that custom officer sell it in their channel is absolutely rubbish,,if its truth than i wuld have owned number of sbks n cars, i bought my honda xr through auction, these officials cant sell it on their own because they have to give notice in public, than send these for auctions, they have to keep record of all the bikes from where it got seized, who bought it,,whom customs have sold this bike and lots more...

This loop hole can be utilized to the maximum when buying stuff from customs guys. The catch is, you should know the right people to get a good bargain. Else, i have heard you get vehicle easily for 2/3rd the actual price....
hahahaha dude i am sorry but how can you be sooo sure that the CUSTOM OFFICIALS dont knw the price of these stuffs?? they are smarter than us...

I don't know anybody there in the dock. I may be able to get some help from my uncle who was in the customs in Delhi & is now in the excise. In Mumbai I might get some help from one of my other uncles in the IT dept.

CHEERS,
