Default KTM 690 Duke - In india ?

This article is dated December 2008 and talks about KTM/Bajaj Developing the 690 Duke at Chakan Plant and launching the bike india.

I remember bajaj displaying the KTM's at the '08 autoexpo and initial talks of launching it in india, then the whole hype died down and also bajaj is yet to launch the baby ninja.
I mean its typical "bajaj", it wont be surprising to see another 150CC with say DTS"F"FI - (.. notice the additional "F" there.. ) or say Pulsar 240CC (220+20 CC) with say 22BHP

Can somebody tell me if this news is genuine or just another stupid speculation and I dont want to grow old by the time we get some good bikes in india and not priced equal to my entire fortune.

Ktm Duke 690

Regards....

There is no use just speculating and filling up posts after posts with it. KTM is surely going to launch their machines in India. If and when that finally happens, we all would get to know.

Like you said, you don't want to get old waiting for the product to arrive. Likewise, let's not grow old by speculating and guessing when will that happen.
