Default 600cc & 1000cc SBK Races part of the 2009 JKNRC

Form MMSC (Madras Motor Sports Club)

"We are extremelly pleased to inform you that in 2009, the JK Tyre National Racing Championship, which starts from 13 to 15 February 2009 at Chennai will have races for Super bikes in the following manner.

There will be two races each round, for 2 classes, 600 cc and 1000 cc.

The 600 cc class will be for 2 categories of riders, novice and expert. Experts are those who have raced abroad including foriegn nationals if any,and Indian riders who have achieved good results in 2008 like podium finishes or timing of under 2 minutes per lap List of such Indian riders who will form the Experts category will be circulated shortly.

The 1000 cc will have only one common category.

All classes and categories may race together and prizes and cash awards for the three classes/categories will be seperate.

The dates of the various rounds of the JK Tyre National Racing Championship are available on www.mmsc.in.

Please note that these races are not part of any championship, and are stand alone events.

We request you to apply and recieve your competetion liscenses from the FMSCI as soon as possible.

In 2010, we plan to follow MSS technical regs; so plan your bikes and racing accordingly, AND HAVE FUN !!!!!!
