Default Comet Garage Ver VI

Hi Guys

I am back with the 6th version of Comet Garage

Stuff Done:

1. Changed Clutch plates
2. Changed Rear Tyre to MRF zipy 17-60-140 (the one for FZ16)
3. Got High gauge wiring fixed for HID & Installed cutter in series
4. Top up of Front Fork oil
5. Cleaned front Break pads
6. Cleaned the Spark plugs
7. Cleaned K&N with K&N service kit (very expensive 995 Rs)
8. Lubed & fixed the gear shifter liver & rod
9. Polished with Turtle Wax & 3M
10. Fixed the HID input connector from solder wire to a spare kit connector.
11. Installed the 5mm steel engine guard

Irshad Fixing my Gear shifter play

making of my custom bar ends (lost One oem in transport)

Top up of front fork Oil

Oil Drain & Change, Did change the OEM filter from Richard Hyosung

Old Clutch plates removed

Compare the Old (Black carbon deposit) & New Yellowish clutch plates

The entire assembly, I have a new set but only replaced the plates not the assembly or the springs

Spirit Wash & Dried

HID for Vaidee's bike & My Bro's ZMA

Made in HonKong I Hate any thing made in China Our Money used to fund our troubling neighborhood country army !!)

K&N cleaning kit 995 can use it 3 times

Cleaned Sparkplugs (Scrub, sand paper, split wires & Spirit Wash)

Front view of the NGK Iridium tip ones

Filter after it was Oiled

My Cousin Raju helping me Polish the bike

That's me capturing my Tank after its polished with the FZ30

My Faithful & Retired Micheline pilot sport 160-60-17 hats off to you for you never let me down Not Once .... I could see the treading in the middle so had to put a tire in a hurry, got the MRF 140-60-17 ment for FZ & I am happy till now.

Finished Bike

Cleaned Chain/Sprocket & New tyre

One more view of the Tyre

Engine guard fitted after long time.

The front Rim looked Shiny

The in let to HID is a new one, this was mounted on the other side, but the guy who fixed the center lock over tightened the nut on the other side & it came off the charsy so re located the HID to this side & replace the in let soldering by a spare HID connector.

Ruby electrical near Lalbagh Urivashi theater gate.

he hardly uses tape, has sleeves that are put & heat gun that shrinks & melts the sleeve to cover it nicely

Professional hot air blower (18K intr ) 10 years ago it seems & the Insta heat 2 nib soldering gun that Ruby has.

No Wire twisting 7 Taping its only Soldering & sleeve

This guy puts even a single wire in a separate sleeve !!

My Head light Assembly before it was fixed for all the extra wires & tapes in it.

Black cat center locking that was soldered.

MY CDI that has tasted the Battery Acid

The Connector that almost burnt due to HIGH CURRENT HID.

Any one who has a HID or a Air horn MUST have a cutter relay in the ckt else the wiring is bound to go kaput ...

i am really surprised by the improvement in performance, after the Clutch plate change it it felt like 20% more torque.
The FZ Tyre is really really good @ 2100 Rs, Would recommend it for All comet users. After testing its cornering & Wet road performance I am going to cancel my Micheline road 2 order
I Also cleaned my Matiz K&N at the same time & the car has become very very smooth after that, The Comet K&N was actually clean not much came out as I had cleaned in Comet Garage V too, this time with the K&N kit tough.

Ruby electrical did a good job but took a lot of time from 10:30 AM to 4:30 pm, billed 1000Rs including the wiring, cutter relay & service charges.

Thanks
Sunil

The Stickers were saved while the repaint job was done, but the T in GT 250 on the Right hand side (as seen in the pic) was painted too the left side is safe I was very specif about it while painting ..

The Micheline was completely worn out to an extent that I could see the Tyre sewing/viewing pattern in the center patch ...

Cheers
Sunil

Yeah I am running on race bred slick tires currently
FZ's tire is on my list but that is only as a last option
If I do not get any other, I'll go for this 140 tire
