This looks cool but don't u thing this is gonna screw the brake pads. even a small burr can harm the pad this way because there are so many edges passing through the pads

I doubt ... well designed.. no problem.. will provide better protection against heat and will allow muck to run away faster.

yes u r right roockierock if this is good then this is very good b'cause this will heat up less. Anyways this is on a ducati it has to be perfect in other words it is perfect that why this is there.

No amar it won't affect the pad atall coz the disk will look like so many edges but when u keep the disk straight it will look like a staight line, the pads are placed both side of the disk so no harms. [8D]

Thw wave pattern is supposed to improve cooling and reduce deformation under extreme braking , or so I heard .

the design of the disc in no way iwll affect disc / pad life
it will , as some said , aid cooling and hence better braking performance
