Default My MT-01 is Stage I-ed

Got my MT-01 all sexed up!

Now it's got the Yamaha Akrapovic Stage I exhausts, Yamaha single seat kit with carbon fibre exhaust covers and tail, Newlabel service tail tidy, HEL SS brake lines; the Pazzo shorty levers I had fitted a while ago.

It's a little more quite than the previous RAASK exhausts but now it looks fab and there is a noticeable increase in power across the rev range.

Topic Approved.

@Streetfighter: WOW! That's exotic! I cannot even fathom how the exhaust note must be now. I am sure it would be absolutely orgasmic, if anything. Super stuff. How has the performance been after the 'Stage-I' modifications?

P.S: "Stage-1" mods, which means there is more to come (Stage-2, 3, etc.!!)??

Actually my previous RAASK exhausts were much much louder. This is more bass-y, if you know what I mean. The bikes seems to be running smoother and the power seems to be up across the rev range.

There is a Stage II kit that replaces the ecu and the headers. Then the Stage III kit which has high lift cams, high compression pistons and other engine mods plus the stage II stuff. However the last kit costs almost as much as a 1 yr old used bike in the UK and stage II is supremely expensive too. If I wanted to race me bike I would've bought a 1098 :-)

Yeah it's air cooled. Mileage, don't know; must be 12 to 15.

I'm selling of my previous RAASKs but the ad doesn't show up on the sell section. Does it need to be approved or something?

More bass is always a good thing!

P.S: I have approved the ad. I hope it is now visible.

Thanks mate. I'm going to pull out the baffles and any other restrictors or cats in the Y pipe to see if it can get louder

@ Streetfighter : Is there any performance increase after the installation of the exhaust or is it just for louder and deeper noises..

The claimed power increase is 3 to 5 bhp increase but that really doesn't matter to me. It feels better across the rev range.
