In India only two colours of 2009 fireblade had come. One black, and other deep blue.

In 08 Honda went nuts and manufactured way too many 1000RRs. Now dealerships here in the US are flooded with unsold CBRs lying in crates in their warehouses. They are being sold for 8000$. Which includes the bike tax paper work etc. Its a total steal. I bought my R6 a year ago for more than that.
Wow, for 8000$ they really are a steal ! lucky chaps in US

No, the picture here is of 2008 fireblade. Fireblades that honda got in India are all 2009 models. Next year there will be 2010 models for India.

Its normal to find leftovers from previous years going at this rate, especially when a new model has been launched. But, this was special for the number of the leftovers and the ridiculously low prices. Some fireblades went for as low as 6.5k, and that was OTD price.

yup. Dealerships are reeling with the number of 08s left. I met a guy with the same yellow 08 Fireblade at the dealership. He was telling me that he went to the Kawasaki showroom to get the new ZX6R. And apparently the dealer told him to go get a 08 fire blade instead cause he is gonna charge him abt 9500$ for the ninja. So this guy bought the yellow 08 Fireblade for 8000$ OTD and got a jacket helmet and gloves for free.

@Fireblah : dude, he had the fender exactly like the one in the picture. He also had HIDs installed. It looked killer.
HID kits require some work to install them. You can just get Xenon lamps for your bike instead. They draw the same power as stock and give out a white light like on my R6.
Much brighter.
No pressure
