Congrtulations Bud.. This sure is a very sexy machine. Keep her shining!

i am sort of aware of the process through which you got the bike and have certain queries regarding it. Wasnt the registration an issue? I ask cause i got to talk to a person who owns the CB1000r here in Pune and he complained about the registration. In short, he found the whole process of getting the MH registration quite cumbersome. He suggested me i rather wait for the Mumbai showroom to be operational than getting the bike from Delhi. How was it for you? Could you please throw some light on the transportation process from Delhi and also a bit about the registration on how you going bout it.. It would really be helpful!

But one question- where will you get it serviced?
Honda is gonna send its guy from delhi for servicing. They said even in case of any trouble they will send.
A senior service guy came from Delhi for PDI, that was done in Kolkata.

And about registration, its not done yet. We had got a temp. registration done from Delhi. We are taking help from an agent who has works for a local yamaha showroom here. The temp. registration no. , some papers are needed. Overall, he said he will get it done. Its a normal procedure and I think anyone can get it done at their local RTOs.

About the transport, we got the bike transported from Delhi by Agrawal packers and Movers. They charged Rs 16000, which was quite reasonable compared to the quality of service and charges of others. We were able to track the container and it reached Kolkata in 4-5 days.
