Mine is KB 125, the only thing that got replaced in entire 5 years was the tyres, got it changed to pulsar ones.........Also my bike came with Dirt bike type tyres both front and rear................... I felt confident in driving with this type...............

prakash,

There're plenty of kb100s in kerala. It's rarely seen in ernakulam now. trivandum has quite a lot of them still on the roads.
There was a good thread on the kawasaki kb100 lineage before the crash. I cannot recollect any specifics though.
Hop on your rtr180 and drive via nh47. you'll know when you are in tvm.

I would like to Know whether Kawasaki RTZ is the same as Kawasaki GTO series 2 strokers(110/125 cc) of 1980s available internationally(South East Asian Countries).seems RTZ were detuned to 12.5bhp while internationally they were(GTOs) having 17bhp spec at that time!

yup yup for sure, it has to be the kb-RTZ engines, and yes now the picture is becoming clearer, we had detuned version of the bike.

It was a killer bike, my one close friend left his 125 with me for some time in 2004. The bike was in not so good condition as it was used roughly but it always suprises me by its raw power.

The best i experienced was once when i was in hurry and in first gear i twisted throttle hard, to my surprise the rear tyre was revving very hard on its place and then bike started off like rocket. Trust me i was thrilled by sudden thrust of power. Such power i never experienced in any other bike.

had a KB125 for almost 6 years. Yes it was an awesome bike. Handling and high speed stability was one of the main features of this bike. I always preferred the KB over the RX or the shogun. I guess Bajaj killed the bike due to bad quality and inferior build quality.
I extensively modified mine with a intake resonator( like the one on the Kb110) and had also installed a 5 plate clutch housing as bajaj engineers never bothered to tune the clutch for the 125 since it had the same clutch as on the KB100.
Suspension, instrumentation and comfort was what set the KB125/100 apart from the lot

this was my first bike after i learnt to ride my fathers "Rajdoot 175" got this as a gift on my 16th birthday , it was a kb100 rode it for 5 years it was very smooth and reliable , i got intrested in the bike after having 1 look at the speedo cansole and of course the KAWASAKI name , that time around kawasaki ninja ZX10 was the fastest bike in the world . bike got stolen and i went off to buy a new KB100 , now with a new Delta box , but this time my new bike had problems from day one , mainly gear problem, dint like the bike at all and sold it after a couple of months for a shogun.
