I did check out your thread on your Shaolin . I know the prices are steep high as the Atul Scooter owner is a pure business man as he knows how to make money. Can you believe it, he charged me Rs.550 for a Shogun manifold (currently fitted on Ameya's shogun). The original manifold price is approx. around Rs.150. So you can make out the difference in price rates.

Thank you Sir for your interest taken in my bike restoration. It actually took me more than a month to restore my bike from scrap and costed me a bomb in restoring it.
Let me start from the begining. I bought this bike on 20thJuly'09 from a friend for Rs.15,000 (Yamaha RXG135 stock). I know it was an expensive deal but i didnt mind shelling out as the bike papers were all clean, i even got the original receipt of purchase, one time tax receipt and all insurance certificates till date from 1996. The bike was not in a running condition atall as the engine had seized and the bike had completely rusted, top to bottom. I wasnt disheartened atall as i always wanted to own a good looking Yamaha from childhood. So i thought of taking help from my friends like Sameer(the restorer a non xBhpian) for restoring it.
The bike was ready on Ganesh Chaturthi, as i wanted to gain possession on this auspicious day ;-)
If you want to see pictures of the rebuilding process & parts you can add me on Orkut or Facebook (email id arunavapramanick@gmail.com)
I also tried fitting it with RDD CDI Ver.5 which didnt work properly so went back to the stock CDI.
My bike shoots to a speed of 130kmph effortlessly. Its a pleasure to ride as i do Mumbai-Pune regularly.
But now the only problem that i face is, its too attractive and drags a lot of attention. I cant park it in public places as people try to check it out by sitting on it and aslo try doing mischief. So finally i bought another Yamaha RX135 stock for Rs.8,000 and now currently under restoration (Will post pics soon). I am going to use the bike under restoration for daily commuting and keep this RXG135 and Shogun for weekend trips.
Hope you liked my bike as i know how much pain and patience i have taken in making it "MY DREAM BIKE!"
