^^ Arjun the shops name which you had told me last time doesnt stock them, i know you can source it through ur contacts but stilll 100 stuff is very rare in the bnagalore market nowadays

Posting update:
Followed up today with Yamaha Motors India & here're the update summary
1. Cylinder Piston Kit will be available after Apr 2010
2. For other parts, I need to visit the nearest dealership & obtain total requirement with part numbers & send the request. This is to avoid the confusion on the parts that will be shipped (probably a proof also that I've visited the dealership & thus Yamaha India & the Yamaha dealers make money)
3. Meanwhile, Yamaha Motor will be arranging part details as per what I've requested

I didn't understand this point. You mean Yamaha will let you know the part numbers?

. This Saturday I'll be visiting the dealer for the Rx100 part numbers, if you're interested, I can make a enquiry about 135 for you.

Meanwhile, at the outskirts of Chennai, I stumbled upon this speedometer assembly (for which the YMI dealer asked 2 months time about 3 months back

). Hope this is genuine, what do you think?

Looks like the OEM one

This how the speedo which came along with the bike back in the 80s looked.

Two months time for speedo a too

Looking for two-stroke spares in small shops/sub-dealers maybe more worthwhile. After all, our RXs don't bring them as much money as the latest 4 strokes.

it is an OE meter.you will get in after market shops also in light blue/red Pricol packing

^^ i would have that.. but i have already installed the meter on my bike. The meter you've got is OE, but the later series of RX100 meters. The first gen came with Escorts written instead of yamaha. This is better.
