Default The Fantom : Custom Chopper Design based on the Royal Enfield UCE

Hi guys....Meet the Fantom..A Concept chopper design of mine that I was working for over a month....The Fantom is based on the Royal Enfield's New Unit Construction Engine(UCE) powertrain..

The idea of making a custom chopper was there in my mind for a long time.(In 3d ofcourse and I dont have funds to make it a reality!).Goes without saying that Much of the inspirations came from TV shows American Chopper and biker build off in Discovery T&L.So nearly a couple of months ago I made a 3d model of my own ride The RE Thunderbird Twinspark(Some of you might have noticed the thread here in xBhp). Then I thought why not make a chopper based on the UCE itself.. Firstly I planned on a conventional chopper design. But then design theme shifted to 'something different'..And thus Ideas began evolving. After all the designing jobs I am Still not sure whether I can call it a conventional chopper..

The basic design concept of FANTOM was not to make it just another chopper with catchy colors, flaming skulls or other tribal designs to grab attention, and also minimize large gaping holes between engine and the body(See-thru I mean ..).... The design was basically inspired partly from the F-117 Nighthawk and the Tumbler from Batman....

The model was designed with mostly practicality in mind rather than a conceptuality. And there are barely any parts borrowed from the TBTS model except for the engine(Ofcourse!) and the handlebar switch assembly..At the same time boasting an array of modern features from front to rear like :

-Modified framework.
-Custom front and meaty rear Tyre with custom alloys.
-meaty and raked front suspension with shrouds to match the overall design of the bike.
-Front projector head lamp with red daytime running neon glow +one conventional parabolic reflector headlamp.
-Custom handlebar with integrated full digital speedo and tachometer.
-Belt driven.
-massive rear disc fixed to the alloy coupled with standard 2 piston caliper.
-single sided swingarm with rear mono suspension.

Aahh... Thats a pretty long list I guess...

Please do post ur comments guys.. Both good and bad..

Very nice....!

What I liked the most is the amazing work of pulling off a futuristic cruiser design blended with a not so known to be a futuristic engine (RE fanboys dont flame me for this please!)

Why not a sharp headlamp assy as well?
