Default A Humble request

@ All Senior Members, let us not encourage Spoon-Feeding here. Everyday we have a new guy joining the forum & without even going through all the threads in detail (I am sure all the answers are available in "2-Stroke Indian Bikes" thread and others too) they shoot their question in thread not concerned with the query. These guys dont have the patience to go through the threads & expect immediate answers.

Every now & then there is a guy coming up, either asking difference between RX100 & RX135 or some SHogun & Samurai. Just wasting everybody's time, resulting in infinte debate on which was better etc etc.

Lets stop this for the sake of 2-strokes. Let us spread knowledge in a way it should be.

@ All new joinees, kindly learn to develop independent reading/learning. Put your effort first, go through all the relevant threads/posts & even after that if you dont get any answers, then post the query in Public in appropriate forum.

-Karthik..

But it still remains the original RX135 5-speed. Hope things are clear now.
I'm right now curious, whether he wanted to know if the bike when manufactured was originally 5 speed or what he bought in seconds doubts to be 5 speeder. It's been a year since he bought, I doubt if there is anything can be done even if he find the truth from RC book.

To my knowledge RC books holds good for the owners name, address & bike model, 4 or 5 speed it will not matter in case of seconds since there is always a chance to have some alterations made to the barrel/gears etc.So the buys will need to check the bike during the purchase.

I'll wait for him to get back with some RC /Insurance details and make his point.

RC book as well as insurance should have the ENgine number & Chasis number printed in it. Other alternative is, check in the bike itself (You will find the engine number embossed on LH side, the gear shifter side) & keep us posted. I am sure i will be able to conclude once i have those data. Any confusion still?

Here is what i want you to do, check the real Engine number on the bike itself, forget the number in RC or Insurance papers. Whatever is written on the engine, let me know the exact number. In RC Book, generally the entry is not complete, i.e they omit certain codes or spelling mistakes etc, hence asking you to confirm from the source itself, i.e your bike engine.
