Spare parts thread 2 strokes Yamaha RX family

Im hoping that this thread will be used to discuss and share availabilty, want and pricing etc of spares exclusive to the Yamaha family RX series. The RD can be included, or maybe even the Jawa/Yezdi, depending on members feed back.

The bikes to be discussed for are -

- RX100
- RXG
- RX135
- RX135 5 speed
- RXZ
- RXZ 5 speed
- RX135 Tiger ( post 2002 model with circular meters )

Please add if im missing any models!

I can and help with the following parts -

- meters, side pods

- Panels, tanks, Side panels, seats, seat rail ( RX100, RXZ, 135, RXG, 135 5S )
- Tail light RX, Headlight dome RX100

- Engine components like pump, rings, con rods, cylinder kits ( RX100, 135 4 speed only )

- Wiring harness, carburettors, Rims and disc setups for modding RX to front disc.


Cheers and hope to get enough encouragement from fellow 2 stroke lovers who can help each other out, and support the community! We are a dying breed! and best way is to stick it out together supporting each other!!

Good initiative jd. However, I suspect people won't reveal their sources man. There are atleast half a dozen members here who can procure spares, but I don't think anybody would share that info. There are guys who deal directly with the factory too

Ideally, I would like to see an excel sheet containing names & numbers of dealers where critical spares are available. Ofcourse, there are downsides to that too. May lead people to commercially exploit such info.

Small contribution from my side:- Balasore, Orissa has an independent spare parts dealer with whom few RX spares are available. Dad doesn't remember his name, will try to confirm later.

Cuttack & Bhubaneswar also have some small independent dealers of spare parts with whom parts are available. This info maybe useful to guys in Orissa & WB.

Hey JD great initiative buddy, keep it up. I get my RX from my mechanic at Kalkaji and he is the one who sources the parts from where I dont know but I am sure if needed he would help any.

Just mention what unique and rare parts you can help source, and what all you need.

The important thing is that you should be willing to procure and send to who is in need.

Great initiative JD, This would prove a boon to many people out here including me as it's very hard to source genuine spare's for our beloved RX's...

I definitely need a few things, but i guess i would need to meet you for that.

And look at it this ways, you can get sourcing from all over the country, not just here.
