Me too planning to shift to chrome sylincer but changed plan so now looking for some good chamber..

* I am using the 4Speed carb model no. is 4TL01 on my RX135 5speed.

* I am using the RDD CDI with UNI and 185 Main jet. I will suggest you to install the RDD CDI, UNI with matching jet and you will feel the immidiate change in the performance of the Bike. RDD CDI n UNI are the best things which you can gift your RX. You can join the RDD Forum www.rddreams.com and you can get answer to all your queries there and gain a lot of knowledge regarding the RX..

* My bike starts in first Kit and there is no problem in starting even in the coldest temp.. Please clean your Carb. and check if your pilot jet is blocked which size jets you are using on your RX main jet as well as pilot jet whats their size.. Also check if the breather hole in the tank cap is not blocked.. Try starting your bike with the tank cap open if it starts without any prob then your breather hole in tank cap is blocked open it..

After checking all that please tell me what are the results...
thanks buddy for you help, i cleaned my chrome sylencer then changed the filter foam and got my carb cleaned too...

i dont know the carb setting and the model but its all in stock condition nothing changed or tuned so far.

i am seriously intrested in RDD cdi even i mailed mr.roy regarding this but no replys.

Q: is there any changes to be done to the RPM after installing RDD Cdi ?

Hey Rohit. There is one simple way. You really don't want to go drilling the clutch cover and all. There is another way. You just need a a empty case of speedo or tacho from RX. Source the mounting plate and the center console(the pilot lamp). From some mechanic get a empty case. And plonk a pulsar tacho in it, the old ones that came with classic pulsar. I'd suggest this way as you've already got the CDI for ya. There's no point is going for cable drives. For the wiring diagram you've RDD.

Hope this helps.

Take a empty case of RX Meter cowl. Get a pulsar tacho without its case, you may find it for some 200 rupees (don't ask me where). Plonk it in the RX's meter cowl. Now just connect wires as follows,

The pulsar tacho uses 3 wires

a. (brown) +12 Volts
b. (black/yellow) Ground
c. (Blue) HT Coils +VE (i.e. the Positive end of your HT coil).

P.S. DO NOT USE THE ORANGE WIRE ON THE CDI, IF YOU USE IT YOU'LL blow up the unit.
