The glass wool that you get in the local shops in Bangalore does last more than 350km. The cheapest option is to get the glass wool from the refrigerator repair shops, they use it in the refrigerator (don't ask me where) and that is where i get mine from.

Exactly my thinking. Next time when i visit Mysore i will get some of these. Out here in B'lore i dont have much access to these stuffs.

Ah, i was asking about burning issue only. And no matter how good the stinger design is, an EC or an FFE can never be silent. If it is silent, then its not an EC or FFE at all !!!!

Get glass wool made for autoclave ovens, it is impossible for that thing to burn off in your exhaust, unless you strap on a Rolls Royce jet turbine

Got yet another set of Imported 4Y2 series connecting rod kit & 0.75mm & 1.00mm Piston Kit. Now i have spares which will see through my twins for couple of decades easily.

Coming up next:

1. Mikuni TM24 for my Black 5-Speeder (I dont believe in going for higher size carb for the heck of it, TM28 or above will be an overkill for street spec RX anyday).
2. V-Force Reed Valve Assembly for both the twins & RD too.
3. 4Y2 series original 1.5mm & 2.0mm ART Piston kit for twins.

P.S: While getting these OE stuffs we have ordered some spares too. Will be putting up that info in spares parts thread too.
