yup, new bores are available, though you gotta search hard for em. i had great difficulty, but i managed to source two new 250 bores for my bike and a friend's jawa.

Yup - new bore piston kit costs 5500. But comes with a PPC piston which is cr4p. I am gonna buy that kit anyway coz I need the bore.

Hi Sandeep my dad has a 1987 Yezdi Deluxe and i have a apache rtr fi .
We are planning to restore our yezdi bike . Your restoration is very good could u please chare few details like where in bangalore we can restore yezdi's and at what cost etc. Or is it better to go to mysore as the bike is in coorg our hometown.

Hey, check with ur mechanic if the new bore for Rk is the original one,
We do get some new bore's with the piston, but u cant just replace them, u need to machine the ports and fix the bore.

Just curiuos @srini sir! Does this mean that the bores come with the ports machined in them!!

what do u mean by the port???
I meant the place where the bend pipes are joined, and generally they are called as ports.
I am no sir, i am just 27 and am just trying to learn about these bikes.

I am going to Tirupathi over the coming weekend. Mostly leaving on Fri night/Sat early morning and will return on Sunday. If there is anybody game for the ride here .. I will start a new thread in the appropriate section.
