hi guys
my name is bipin ,i am a proud owner of a yezdi roadking .sadly i aint with my bike anymore i am in mebourne right now for higher studies.and i really miss my bike.
my bike is stock only mod i did was change the carburettor from jikov to mikuni
of course the bike has many irritating things like falling foot pegs(mainly caused due to the kicker and worn out bolts and the brakes in wet condition but these can be dealt with.
mileage ranges from 24-30 depending on riding conditions (this is my roadking) , the classic gives better mileage (30-38) and is a great touring vehicle.
here is the company website even though the company does not exist anymore.
www.yezdi.com
regards to all bikers
bipin

guys having yezdi's can join the yezdi club in yahoo groups, and then guys in chennai can join the roaringriders . So having a yezdi is notatall difficuly. but maintaining it is the art. There r some guys who keep the bike in factory condition, but when u drive it it will be like any other 100cc bike. but the speacility of yezdi is its BEAT and the twin silencers. that has to be felt!!!!!

happy riding

2nd International Jawa-Cz Day - 12th June, 2004

On 12th June, 2004, all Jawa, CZ and Yezdi owners all over the world are once again invited to ride their motorcycles to show how popular these two stroke machines still are!

The point of the day is to show the world again how many of these Czech, and Czech-inspired, motorcycles are still in use all over the world.

It’s an extra special year in 2004 as the Jawa factory will be celebrating 75 years of motorcycle production, and the UK Jawa Cz Owners club will have been together for 50 years and is holding its annual rally over this weekend.

To join in, all that an owner of one of these fine motorcycles has to do is ride it, and then report the ride to one of the addresses below. If you have more than one Jawa/CZ/Yezdi, ride them all and report that! If you can take a photograph of you and your machine(s) do so, and send that in, too! If you ride more than one machine on 12th June, be sure to tell us how many you rode.

Set aside 12th June, 2004 to "ride and report". Let's see how many machines we can get on the roads of the world that day!

The UK Club will be staging its mass bike run from the rally site, on 12th June at 10.30am GMT and travel approximately 50 miles or 80km if you wish to ‘ride with us’ !

Last year the total was 230 from 19 countries, lets see if we can double that number in this special year.
We want everyone to know our machines are alive and well!

To report your ride send an email to :

Europe:
Arthur Fleming: arthur.fleming@london.gov.uk or
UK Jawa /CZ Owners Club: mailto:torque@jawa-cz-owners-club.freeserve.co.uk

USA :
Mike Thomason: mailto:Jawa1@zebra.net

India:
Yezdi Club: mailto:yezdiclub@hotmail.com

You may report to any of the above, but please only report ONCE! Also, if you are a member of a Jawa/CZ/Yezdi club, tell us which one. You may send a scanned photo along with your report.

If you wish to report by regular post you may send your letter/photos to:

Arthur Fleming
5 Romford Road
Pembury,
Kent
TN2 4HU
UK

Or, send your report to your nearest Jawa/CZ/Yezdi club, and ask that they pass the information along.

Let's repeat the success of last year and make 12th June 2004 another big day in the history of Jawa/CZ/Yezdi motorcycles!

Ookay guys...
Here I am.. all smiles to see a forum for the yezdis.
Ask me about the technicalities about the bike... I will see stars. But ask me about the feeling of owning/riding that monster... I will vouch for that. Boss.. you will feel the thunder.. the vibration between your two thighs. It gives me orgasm!.
......
well well well.. comparisons between the roadie and other leo toys..?
I have't tested a ZMA ... but a well maintained roadking can beat a well maintained rx, p 150.. and with some skills.. a p180.

And.. all this after spending some 7-10 winters on this earth.(the latest Roadking will be a 1997 model.. 6 years).

And Jawa..? Well my 1967 jawa(with pillion) can beat a 100 cc (splendor to be specific)with out pillion hands down.

These bikes are a class apart....
only bikes to have 2 silencers (apart from a RD)-->> Thats y a twin pied piper

Auto clutch

Start cum lever bike.
................

As far as brakes being bad.. cut the gears.. the gears are meant for that.
...........
Cheers guys
Have fun
