Post RX 135 and touring? need some insight

Hi guys...I just now went through a thread about a tristate meet of XBHPians and thought of joining them this time..I have a RX 135 5s and if i want to go on a tour of minimum 1000k trip on it , would that be a gud idea?? this is not a specific question about my bike ...i am generally asking about RX 135 in view of a touring bike..and if this is a good idea should some changes be done on it to suit the ride comfortably??? suggest your ideas and please correct me if i am wrong in my views!!!

Keep your ride in top notch condition. Do all the required service & ensure that you've necessary consumables with you.

I'm riding to the TSG2G on my Rx from Chennai. Do you need any more convincing answer?

I have choice to be done from my YBX / RX100 / Lightning 535...have done many a trips on my 535, let me try on some smaller machines....

aargee - Just a layman's question - Read through in some thread that a YBX is better in terms of performance than a RX 100, how is that? why is it on tracks YBX is preferred in the Group D than a RX 100, is it just because of the 25 CC additional

Sorry I've no idea on this one. May be YBX has a better PWR; again just an assumption. I could be completely wrong though.

Better can start a new thread & provide the source info so that it has a good attention.

I do on premix & both premix & oil pump works on long hauls without an issue. But wondering, if you haven't operated using an oil pump, then what's the problem
