Default Royal Enfield : Master cylinder assembly needs replacement

Posting on Behalf of jpattnaik

I have a Royal Enfield Thunderbird. The master cylinder assembly (of Pricol make) needs replacement. It is not available in the market or even through authorised Enfield dealers. I have to purchase the complete disc brake system costing Rs 5000+. I need help in locating a replacement from other manufacturer or model. Such assembly for Bajaj Pulsar costs only Rs 190/-. For the caliper O rings (Seal piston and dust seal) of Pricol, I used matching products for Honda bikes. Kindly help me in identifying a substitue for the master cylinder assembly of Pricol. The master cylinder dia is 12.7mm and stroke length is 13mm.

Thanks Mr Noor for posting the query on my behalf. (Due to some reason I was unable to post). Luckily yesterday I got the answer. master cylinder of TVS bikes perfectly match with Pricol master cylinder, that are fitted on all Royal Enfield bikes. The TVS bikes master cylinder costs Rs 340/- only. I have already fitted and it is working fine. Hope this news will help other Royal Enfield bike owners facing the same problem. Thanking you all.
