Default RD 350 My Dream Finally realised!!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!

I have always dreamt of owning an RD 350 ever since I bought my first 2 stroker in 1999. Was hunting for a Magnificient Beast ever since. Finally I came across a dying Beast with another states registration & in a very critical condition, but I did not miss the chance & grabbed it.

With Pride I am finally an RD owner!!!!

Now the real hard task begins of getting this dying beast to come to real life & roar on the Roads & set my Pulse racing & Heart jumping out of my Ribs.

I Would like all the Senior Members especially RD owners to please please guide me & advice me on getting this Classic Monster to its Original Prime.

I am really naive when RD parts are concerned

All the help is really wanted & will be appreciated.

Thanx all in Advance...

It has to be dafc, it looks totally shagged. Out here in B'lore to restore such a piece of crap one would need Rs.1,50,000/- if going for all OE parts or atleast racing parts.

Last time around my friend payed Rs.10,500/- for clutch plates alone !!!!! RD parts are extremely expensive. A brand new US spec barrel will cost Rs.40,000/- (Ex. works price)!!!!!

Good luck to the guy.

Rs.1,50,000/-

Seeing the figures quoted by you I'm really getting

Then I would suggest you to collect some contacts in US/UK, get Tourist Visa, Stay there for 1 month enjoy the stay and get all the parts you need for the restoration work and ship them.

Anyway I'm sure with a sum of 1,50,000/- you gonna have double benefit(Visiting other country + Genuine parts for your bike)
