Yeah bro, but it has run alot without oil and suffered partial sieze, so am confused. And thought the best option would be to get everything replaced since then the bike would regain 100% reliability, I'm prefering on spending extra cash on fixing her up cause its way better than paying for this.

Okies am free for the whole day, all I've got planned is an oil change for ZMA, that will take only 10Mins. When we go to buy parts for Sriram sir and Rookie Sir, we'll discuss about it.

The urge for owning a 2Stroke was so great that a few days ago I enquired about TVS XL and was shocked when they said the on-road price was 31K.

Update.

Today me and Sarin bro went in search for kiney parts and surprisingly they had all the kiho parts but none of the kiney parts. So being disappointed below expectations I decided to get a second hand 2 stroke bike, preferably a model whose spares are easily available. Since my budget is a low 14k I'm hoping to go for max100. So was hoping you guys could bring in more suggestions for me.

Update guys, and that too after a long while, it's been a really long time since I've even gone near the Kiney cause the last time I took her out for a ride she stalled, so a few days back, pulled up the covers and hit the started hoping it to be dead, the bike started and we were all surprised, and after seeing this dad agreed that it'd be a great loss if we scarp it, so we're planning to restore it in a few daystime, cause am having exams now, currently dad is looking for a good mech to do the job, and by that mean
The who works, both engine and body. Will keep everyone updated as everything hopefully falls into place, and BTW it clocked a 80kmph on speedo, I.e running on the old engine oil and petrol left in it!!!

Though I'm not familiar with Kinetic to be frank. However, would recommend to follow the simple plan:-

1. Determine what's in and what's out.
2. Set your objective as what the bike to be like
3. Get basic knowledge of spares available in the market.
4. Find a knowledgable mech/preferrably experienced in Kinetic
5. Fix the timelines for spares/cosmetic touch.
6. Schedule the time for the rebuild
7. Execute the plan.

Tips:- Never open up the engine (should that need) and search for spares. This comes from experience.

Good to see an update. I have a first hand 1989 Kinetic too and i opted to keep it rather than scraping it as no other modern scooter gives me the 2stroke pleasure that the Kinetic has. There is scarcity of parts and whatever is available is mostly locally made. Let me know if you need any help with the spares as i keep looking for them for mine.

Sir, there's no hope of aquiring spares, cause mines the 110cc variant, guess reboring would be apt with a Shaolin piston, not sure about the technical details though. And engine opening is mandatory cause all the gaskets have
gone kaput, there's compression leak when the bikes hot, and even though it's still running, it's gone through a lot, I.e run for extended periods without oil causing tons of white smoke to gush out and all.

Anyways, now we Are looking for a trust worthy mech, since it'd be best to leave it in the hands of a capable mech rather that go for a DIY.

I believe you're using the 100cc variant, can you please enquire whether the 100cc cylinder kit is backward compatible with the 110cc variants. Cause if so then my work will be many folds easier, I've searched for the 110cc cylinder kit in every single shop here and none of them have it.
