Smile Restoring my Kinetic Zoom Y2K.

Hi everyone. My name's Ashwin and am from Kollam,Kerala.
I've got a Kinetic Zoom 110cc 2stroke scooter that's been laying around for a while. It was purchased in the year 2000.

My friend and tutor of biking, KB100 has accepted to help me complete the job, since am a novice when it comes to bikes.

Pics will be coming along shortly.

But before I start the restoring process I've got a few queries and hoping you'll could help me sort it out.

1. Can I swap my engine with a Shogun one???
2. If yes, what all should I replace???
3. Anyother recommended mods???

Thanks in advance guys and wish me luck on this project.

Keep your Kine Stock, if you really require to mod, then do some mild port job on the cylinder, but thats it.

Shogun Engine!!!!!!!! Sorry that is not possible. Yours is a scooter & that is a bike. Forget it. Moreover Shogun cylinder kit + CrankShaft are more hard to come by then your ZX Zoooooom's.

Also FYI, Shogun Engine is naturally air-cooled, but Kinetic ZX is forced air-cooled, so dimensions will matter. Please buy a Shogun if you like & keep both these with you.

Keep it stock, keep it healthy.

IMO Restoring to the stock condition will be the best for any vehicle than modding it seriously. Personally i didnt feel any lack of power in you kinetic.

Yeah when discussed with Sarin bro, he too said that was a good idea and also was technically possible and am not talking about the engine as a whole, I forgot the names of the parts thats why I said ENGINE as a whole.

And FYI my stock ZX can easily smoke a RX100 .

Karthik - It's a shame that I own and restored the RX with great difficulty, looks like Kinetic ZX can smoke RX, damn! I wasted all the money! I'm not going to spend any money on RX at all.

I'm going to buy ZX and do stage 3 port set up to smoke RD350!
