You should be able to source these under 3k.

You should try small-town shops down south buddy. It takes some hard work though.

Yes. You are right. I have two Rajdoots and its parts are available in right price near Varanasi and Ghazipur (In East U.P, my native place). There are lots of Rajdoot you can see running on roads and that is the reason for easy availability of parts. But for pune, I think 4K price is okay as Rajdoots are hard to find.

RDs are superb machines.. sure needs a paintjob coat it with teflon after paintjob and it will look awesome.. looking forward for pics.

That is not an RD. All RDs are twin cylinders or more (always).
