You mentioned that each part purchased and fixed original. But then you say that you have RX100 carb on your RX135. Why? A critical component like carburetor should not be put from a different bike. Try to install the stock carb for RX135 as soon as possible.

On your timing issues. Are you certain that your coil plate is genuine and of RX135 only? Can you double check this. If you have eliminated the possibility of a faulty CDI, then all suspicion goes to a faulty coil plate.

The magnet is a spinning component. If it is stock (genuine) and not damaged, then this should not be the cause of your problem.

I believe that with a stock generator setup and a stock clean carb (no blocked jets), you should not face any kickback issues.

If all components have been verified, and you are still facing this issue, then you can drill holes on your coil plate to change (advance or retard) your timing. But I wouldn't suggest or recommend this. I would suggest you take your bike to a good Yamaha Service Centre and try to speak to a mechanic who has experience in two-strokes.

Theoretically speaking, timing has an effect on jetting and jetting has an effect on timing. Advancing your timing will lean out your jetting. Retarding your timing will richen your jetting. This is what I have read.

That's the reason I am asking you to ensure that both your coil plate+magnet+CDI setup and your carburetor should be stock and installed and functioning correctly.

Cheers!
Rohit.

my mechanic says there is some problem in magnet of the bike, it makes lot of smoke & also give average of 25kms which is very low.
i have spend big time on the restoration of bike with each parts purchased and fixed original

I asked my mechanic several times regarding the carbatour to be replaced. & to 2 other mechanics also. all of them they said no its fine and does not much effects the bike. i had purchased this bike in very scrap condition, have not replaced the carbatour since than. regarding the magnet plate & coil plate i need to check with my mechanic weather its geniune & of RX135 . CDI Is original & have changed it before 3 months. even have checked from other bike but dint find any issue with the CDI.

will check with my mechanic regarding the timing, coil plate & magnet..

thanks to all !!

Friend. The first thing we should do once we start participating in two-stroke forums is, to stop trusting and start questioning our mechanics!

Just check this info:
RX100 - Mikuni VM20 carb - 20 pilot jet 115 main jet
RX135 - Mikuni VM22 carb - 17.5 pilot jet 165 main jet

So if you're running an RX100 carb on your RX135, then your bike will run lean in the working range of the main jet. Which is not good for your engine.

Anyways, carburetion is a vast topic.
