Default Good Mechanics for bullets all types of ENGINES

This is just to share this info with my fellow Thumpers.

Have found Two excellent mechanics who got around 8 years experience in Royal enfield Service centre and both are trained in Royal Enfield (Chennai). Specialists in all types of Enfield engines including UCE.

Workshop recently opened at Asalpha, Mumbai.

Workshop Name : Indian Bullet

Mechanic Name= Pandurang- 9324462608

Imtiaz- 9769847286

Give it a try if you want a good mechanic for your enfields. I own a Bullet Electra Twinspark 2011 model myself and i have been going to them so thought of sharing this info with my fellow Thumpers.

Would like to add here...

Francis Auto Garage (Authorised Royal Enfield Service Centre since the 1970's)

Opp to Chitra Cinema. I am sure most bullet owners know this garage and Mr Francis is a real gem of a guy. I serviced and modified my bike here since 2001 before i sold my Bull but i never had to change my garage for a single time in 10 years. Also this is the single guy i know in India, who has successfully built 2 Interceptor Bullets (one for his own self) of the 1960's make which was a twin cylinder 550cc specially made and imported engine from Enfield England.

Mr. Santosh who was his assistant is now also the partner/ owner of this garage with Mr Askok. These guys are purely and to the core into Bullets.

I can vouch their expertise as i have first hand experience from them for the last 10 years.

Interceptor AFAIK, was a 750cc 55 bhp bike in the early 70's

My bad... I inquired with him on phone and he confirmed its a 1959 Matchless G9 500cc parallel twin engine.

Here are the pics of the bike. Only the engine was imported from england, and the bike was built on a 1959 Std Bullet (again a rarity)

And the Interceptor Series of bullets started from 1964 with Series I.
