Default RM2012 - Winner of the Best Custom bike - Worlds 1st supercharged Enfield

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the bike is finally complete. We rode it down from Chandigarh to Rider Mania 2012 in Manesar, where predictably, it walked away with the first prize in the Custom Bike section. The motorcycle has changed significantly since I detailed it in my last thread

The bike's builder, Ranjit Randhawa has done an awesome job with the look and the engineering of the bike. The mods done on the bike are as follows:

Frame, suspension and brakes

1. All new tailor made custom frame
2. Engine offset to accommodate large 200 cross section tyre
3. Custom made 17” 6 spoke front and rear alloy wheels
4. Tyre dimensions: Front: 120”, Rear: 200”
5. Mono-shock rising link rate rear suspension. Fully adjustable – load, preload, damping sourced from a CBR900RR
6. Fully adjustable front suspension sourced from a CBR 900RR.
7. Hand made fiber glass front and rear fenders with tire hugging profile
8. Custom made user friendly chain adjustment mechanism
9. Custom made 4 pot hydraulic rear sprocket brake.
10. Custom made housing and installation of rear brake master cylinder
11. 4 pot hydraulic front brakes and rotors sourced from an earlier model R1
12. Rubber bush mounted engine
13. Custom made handle bars tailor made to suit my riding stance. All wiring and cables hidden inside handle bars and frame.
14. Custom made, hand crafted twin body 20 litre capacity petrol tank

Engine

15. 535 cc stock Enfield engine souped up to 654 cc by lengthening the stroke (110mm) and increasing the bore (87mm).
16. Custom modified crank shaft and connecting rod
17. Low friction, high compression piston sourced from Honda CRV SUV
18. Large CV carb
19. Aissin AMR 500 super charger custom made plumbing and fitment
20. Reworked lubrication system, now sporting an oil cooler and heavy duty oil pump
21. Custom made heavy duty electrical starter motor housing and installation
22. Custom made twin spark digital ignition system to replace the stock points system
23. Stock 5 speed Royal Enfield gear box
24. Custom made gear shift mechanism. Gear shift on the left and braking system, on the right side.
25. Custom made free flow exhaust system
26. Custom made wiring harness to accommodate high voltage twin spark, powerful lights and loud horns
27. 12 V, 18 amph sealed Exide battery

Others
28. Custom made, billet aluminium Cyclops twin headlight
29. Custom made rear LED tail light
30. LED turn signals
31. Custom made digital speedometer with integrated trip meter recessed into the fuel tank
32. Custom made digital display for Neutral indicator, high beam, low beam, turn signal- recessed into the fuel tank

The motorbike got finished just two days before Rider Mania, and we are currently running it in. The supercharger has been set up to generate not more than 5-6 psi of boost. As of now, I have restricted the carb as otherwise I find it difficult to 'take it easy' during the running in period. Once i have over 500-600 kms on the clock, we shall start gunning it. I have already ordered the FCR41 flat slide carb with push pull throttle assembly for the bike. Will swap it with the 'small unit' we are currently using. Can't wait to see how much power this baby makes when in full flow.

For a video, please see the following link

I am attaching some pics for you all to check out.

The bike is currently enroute to Mumbai from Manesar, and should be here by the weekend. I will post some more pics with close ups of the engine and the supercharger drive next week along with some video's as well.

Once the bike is in Mumbai, I plan to change the headlight, replicate the design airbrushed on the tank on the rear and front fenders, program that Phitsela Radon digital speedometer unit and get a bigger carb with push pull throttle...and thats it, the baby is complete and ready to fly

Now that the Prostreet 700 is finally coming home to keep my Ducati Diavel company, my garage is complete...(for now

Cheers

Vivek

WTH!!! You ppl matched the stroke length of a HD Fat boy!!! Awesome!!!

The video link isn't working for some reason here, otherwise, I could've enjoyed the beautiful, lovely, slow idling music.

BTW, I hope you didn't bother to etch the old frame number into the modded frame, right?

Looks super awesome, how much bhp do you expect it to be producing at the present state of tune?
