I have a question regarding this statement "To figure miles per hour, multiply the engine RPM by the Wheel Diameter in inches and divide this by the Gear Ratio times 336" found on http://www.tsrsoftware.com/gear-formulas.htm
Why do power is not considered in the formula? Since p150 and p180 both has the same gear ratios. If we put the rear wheel of p180 onto p150 the top speed of p150 will increase to that of p180 and if we put the rear wheel of p150 to p180 the top speed of p180 will come down. Now isn't wrong?

i think they r refering to final drive which is different for both.this formula is to indicate speed tht can be obtained by using a certain gear combo.
