good determination there.. people are forgetting 2strokers on the roads these days.. whenever im at a traffic signal with my smoking shogun and RD, ppl see the smoke and stare at me like ive committed a crime.. ive seen ppl put a kerchief on their noses n move away.. hehe.. pity.. its like theyre saying 'why dont u get ur bike checked?' ..

Congrats Nikhil! Build her up and take good care of her...she is in good and deserving hands now . Btw, if you need the fuel tank let me know. There was one piece left in my city 'bout a month and probably still there. Suzuki tanks are subjected to rust and degradation pretty fast so if you keep a spare, nothing harmful about it.

lol congrats on the bike man! brilliant price..
but parts are incredibly tough to find. body parts you'll get as its the same as the samurai. engine etc is tough to get. i picked an entire bore and piston kit last year for 4.5k..
bike's got a mild port job done, runs smoothly done a lotta long distances trips on it. no problems at all. i put a fiero disc kit upfront. the spare bore is still languishing at my place because i don't feel the need to get it replaced yet.

lol i'm keeping it till mine dies. my friend rode it for 100km with a broken piston ring. thats why i had to port it to regain the lost power.
i'd say for your bike just check out how worn the engine block is. if its not too bad you can salvage it with a decent street port.

the shaolin is my everyday bike. so only if i sell the bike will i sell the spare bore and piston kit

its gonna be a sitting/dead investment worth 2k..actually no wait..you're gonna be spending on parts too right? but its ok since you have an everyday commute bike. bad decision on the shaolin. all the best for the rebuild.
