Wink found some useful stuff 4 rx...

Hi RX lovers / owners / riders, I just want to let you about the RX 100/135 DIGITAL CDI 's made by RD Dreams built by one of India’s best 2 stroke tuners Ron Chinoy.
This one product / gadget is the only product that will boost up the power AND mileage of your bike. Everything else out there including that stupid gadget every body fixes to their HT coil lead is a con.

It will also reduce emissions and increase the redline your power band will be wider. Its cost is around Rs 2200/- shipped for the RXG Digital III and Rs 2000/- for the Digital II. If in doubt get the digital III it has the latest curve. The digital II units will be phased out soon. It’s worth every rupee.

Let me summarize how it works:

1:- It’s a DIGITAL cdi, with DYNAMIC and not static timing [conventional CDIs are static]. I.e. the microprocessor changes the timing depending on the engine rpm. So at low rpm fires the spark at approx 24 degrees advance [depends on how you time your engine] and as the revs rise it backs off by a few degrees. Ron has spent YEARS working on this "timing curve" and continues to hone it to perfection.
This variable timing is the key ingredient to better combustion, resulting in a wide powerband, stronger midrange, reduced vibrations, higher redline AND reduced emissions.

2:- Clever design tricks like wasted spark removal and high quality components ensures a much stronger spark.

3:- They even provide multiple maps, choice of Dynamic or static timing.

4. Because the timing is constantly being adjusted to match the RPM and hence the speed of the piston. Vibrations drop.
And the engine runs much cooler. In fact the harder you ride the Bike the cooler the engine gets.
Less heat means better engine life. Heat accelerates wear and tear of moving components.

5. A 12 Volt d/c square wave output pulse is also provided. Because of the wasted spark removal feature this allows you to run most modern Digital RPM meters.

Visit Ron’s website to clear any doubts.

Not to be nit picking or something, but is that true?

And are the dynamic timings user programmable?

All what is mentioned is correct..but the wording could have been better..

RDD CDI's have been in talk even in the US....be it the RD or the RX...you just need to see the difference it makes to a stock bike!!

For RX CDI's contact Torq3ue on rddreams.com.
