its obviously not a direct fit..requires mods to the intake, but yes very much possible

Time for a quick update

The rebore got completed yesterday. nice 45 degree hatch complete with chamfer. Time to wash the barrel and prepare for install

Also, in came another RX barrel for the RZ reed valve fitment. Nice big transfers and boost port on the thing already. Here's a few pics in comparison with stock ports. Only bad thing about it was it ran a shitty sleeve with mismatched ports. Will be corrected soon

Cheers

Time for a much needed and long awaited update on this build.

First off, the engine department got sorted a while ago on the bike. Then nitesh had suggested I take care of the cycle parts and paint as well. There began the cosmetic bit as well. I have to admit Im no paint/bling guru to begin with, but heck why not give it a shot. In came the list.

For starters, the gladiator full frontend. Nitesh didnt want any "bajaj" parts on the bike hence went with the yamaha theme. Got the full forks assy, hub, rotor and the mast cyl+caliper unit. Have attached pics.

Then followed a complete strip-down of chassis, rims, spokes. The front headlamp is off the YD125, so are the indicators. New spokes, front rim, new electricals and switch cluster. The central locking adapted from the Yamaha RXZ with the central switch as well.

The bike is now almost complete and ready to be given to Nitesh after a good 7 months [approx] Will be posting up finished pics as well.
