Thumbs up Xenon hid for the bull

Hey Bullers.....

I own a Royal Enfield Electra 2003 make.

I love to inovatively upgrade my BULL. I want to install Xenon HID in the headlight of my BULL. Can any of you fellow BULLers help me out with your experince or suggestions on the Pros and Cons of installing Xenon HID in my BULL.

Will i be able to install the Xenon HID in the same headlight or do i have to change the entire HEadlight assy??

please help me out in this.

attaching the picture of my BULL.

Straight fit if you are running DC. Maybe a reflector upgrade. But, I guess you are on CDI ignition as you have a 2003 model. So some retrofitting has to be done like conversion to DC. Post in the lighting section in the universal thread.

Cheers,

Jay

It is actually a direct fit into the same headlight nothing needs to be done, only the wiring needs to be laid separtely for it,as it requires DC.

thanks for the idea, but i want to install the entire HID kit, including the Ballast. how to go about the same???? as presently i am using normal white halogen as the bulb, if i use only xenon bulbs then what will be the amount of increase in the light???

as i know with the ballast the power of the light increases hugely.

Using only the hid bulb is liking trying to run a tube light without the choke. The the hid bulb requires the ballast, for its functioning.

Default Battery Drainage

Any negative effects on Battery Drainage. Does the battery get drained with constant usage?
