It was long due for me to do a long ride; nothing comes better then riding back to Chennai from Kolkata. This time i had a company to ride along with me; his name is Gibran a fellow xbhpian from Kolkata. It was he who planned this ride as he wanted visit his brother who is in Bangalore.

sorry for late update as i was not well here is the day 1 log and pic

Day 1

Here how it started, i got a PM from Gibran asking if i may company him for the ride, first i said i might not come but all of a sudden i had to go Kolkata for some important work, so i PM Gibran and said i might come with him, so the plan was set, we need to leave Kolkata on 13th Nov and reach Chennai on 14th Nov.
So on 9th i left Chennai and reach Kolkata on 10th, called Gibran and inform him about my arrival, and met him next day, as my bike was laying in Kolkata for ling i wanted to check the condition of the bike, on seeing my bike i was shocked, my bike was in broken condition, i came to know that the bike met with an accident few weeks ago when my brother visited Kolkata. I didn’t have time to fix the bike altogether so somehow i fix the bike to run.
The day had come i have packed everything i needed, with me my nephew was also coming, called Gibran and fixed the time and place to meet, and it was his home at 4.00 am, which was on the way to Chennai. At 4.30 am we left for Chennai, at shar e Punjab we filled our tank at that time i found that one of the my ignition key screw is missing, try to fix that with the help of wire, after few min we left, and at 7.00 am we crossed Kharagpur, and found the best road were we can ride at the max.

Around 9.30 am we reached Balasore and had breakfast, rested for few min and left, now from here the bad road start till Badrak, in between we stop for refreshment. Around 3.00 pm we reached Bhubaneswar stop for refreshment, after ½ hour we left and found that my bike has a puncher, stop and fixed the puncher and again we were on the way, around 5.00 pm we reached Chillka and found that the bike is again puncher, we again fixed the puncher and left, due to the puncher we were late by 2 hour road from Chillka to Icchapuram is in bad shape, around 7.30 pm we crossed the Andhra boarder now the road were smooth and pleasant to ride as we crossed Palasa again i found the bike is punchier at the same place where it was earlier, we halt to fill the petrol and looked at the tire to find why the puncher is happening at same place on examine the tire we found that the puncher hole was big whenever we try to fix it with the rubber compound it doesn’t stay there, so we showed it to the puncher repair guy, he said that we have to put tube as the hole in the tyre is big, but that guy didn’t had the 17 inch tube, it was around 9.00 pm so we decided to halt there and had our dinner, i will say that Gibran had his head cool all the time, he helped me in repairing the puncher all the time. After our dinner we asked the puncher shop guy that were can we get the tube he said we have to travel to narsimapet there we can find the tube, he filled the air in the tyre and we left but after 2 min i tyre was flatten again, so i had to ride the bike in fatten tyre i will say that the bike was not wobbling due to the low pressure in the tyre. Around 11.00 we reached narsimapet but could not found the tube as all the shop was closed, so had to ride in the flat tyre after 10 km we found a puncher shop and asked him whether he has the tube or not, he said he has a 18 inch tube which he can fixed in my bike but it will take time, so we decided to stay and fixed the tyre as we had to travel long way, so i open the rear wheel and gave to him, we all were tiered and wanted to sleep because we left early morning, around 1.00 am mid night the tyre was ready and we were 150 km sort of Vizak. We thanks the puncher repair guy and headed toward Vizak in full speed around 2.30 am we reached Vizak, found a good hotel in station road, it cost us Rs1000 for 3 person A/C room we un packed our stuff and went to the room, after freshen we went to the bed and plan to leave around 8.30 am in the morning.
