The Tourer
Did a 1500kms round circuit to the hills, a fast interstate dash, whatever it maybe, share your triplogs here. And do remember to attach some good photographs!

Default Sole of Kerala !

More is never enough… Its been 3rd time I am riding back home in last 2months.This time I had to go for some formalities related to house registration. As usual I was lazy to book Bus ticket though I knew I had to go on Friday night. Friday morning I called up to see if tickets are there, only reason that I go by bike its kind of boring riding back Mysore-Bangalore stretch. I didn’t get ticket , so though to ride.

These days I am avoiding the early morning rides. I can’t get enough of sleep, so cant start by 3 or 4 am. You know conf calls these days till 1 am… Na na not office – Marriage Bug Guys!! So I started thought will start by 6:30. Told Deepthi(Deeps) to call me by 6, but she said, she is tiered and wont be able to woke me up. So I kept alarm for 6 and slept. I got up and was getting ready. My phone was ringing , it was Deeps. Called to woke me up, that was sweet . She said to have a good and safe ride, and too take some photographs! For a moment I thought, well my shifting to a new gear now.

Some home may be after Leh like I am taking breaks only after a long time. Like before I used to take kind of 60-70km. But now it’s like one or tow breaks in whole Bangalore-Calicut stretch. May be I have seen it a lot and no more interested to stop and have a look. I thought this time also will be similar. I was speeding in 110-120 all the way on mysore road took fisrt break just before mysore. So there is a Photograpy exhibition going on in my office so I want to take some fresh pics. Well this break didn’t disappoint I got some pretty decent shots. But it was long break on half an hour now.

Well this has gone in to Exhibition and sold for 500 INR - its goes in for charity.

Mysore

Near Nangangude

It was children day

My plan was to stay in Wayanad at my friends place so next stop was at her home , which is a detour of 15km from Kalpetta. Scene in KL was entirely different from KL. Its was more of a moody rainy day than of a crispy morning ride under the sun. I love the later, I am sure so do you or may be you don’t – but love to ride in rain. I like the feel of wet underwear J. Ok I am going OT - So I reached her home by noon. Had a quick breakfast by 12:30 pm. Then we engaged on talking and watching movies. She was under going a ayurvedic treatment hence was on a long leave. BTW she is Bijina(Bichu)- Vinals wife – we all are my class mates.

After noon it got cloudier. I could feel the rain is coming. Soon it rained- man this place is really beautiful – I wanna build a home here. You see green every where and may be people here don’t know what is pollution. And when it rains hard it’s a treat to watch trees and leaves kissing each other. Ohh the smell of rain. “Thulam Mazha” that’s what you say in Malayalam and it comes in evening. Bichu said when she was a kid they used to say lets take umbrella today for school otherwise we will get wet in "Thulam Mazha".They used to walk for kilometers to reach school. Its all different world from my home town. Talk continued seeing the rain on all old stories, it was nice. Nice way to refresh your mind and body.

“Mazha Thornu” – It stopped raining, only drizzling I took my tool and went out to shoot some thing for exhibition. Half an our didn’t get anything interesting. I came back and tried some in and around house. It was 5pm by now, Bichu said lets got to temple – it’s a one and half kilometer walk. I took cam along. We didn’t go to temple since the last stretch near the temple is a steep climb and was very slippery while you walk. We came back home. Now my lunch was ready . Man yummy Wayanad Chicken Curry and Puttu It’s a very popular Breakfast item in Kerala. But not time for Puttu with Chicken . Had enough of it. Now agin some chit chat and watched some movie. Now time to go to bed and followed by conf call.
I told Bichu to call only by 9AM as I want to sleep well. But said she wont woke me up but some one else will. Who is that

2 be continued…
