Default Down memory lane - a ride into nostalgia

DOWN MEMORY LANE – A RIDE INTO NOSTALGIA

Flashback: Just uploaded our Bangalore/Goa Trip Log the other day and after a quick approval from our dear friend Noor and so many affectionate, encouraging and warm messages from our wonderful friends at xbhp, I happened to chance upon some pics from our old, old, rides more than a decade ago.

I used to ride often during my ‘single status’ days and luckily for me after marriage there was no ‘road block’ to riding since she loves the rides as much as I do.

We started with relatively small rides – Mysore, Bandipur and Ooty, Then we did a Bangalore/Kerala/Bangalore ride way back in 2001. We realized that though we were getting older, our Biking Passion was very much alive!

We would like to share some of our old,Nostalgic Pictures with our dear friends at xbhp so they can maybe look back at how it was in another era! So we took out the faded old photos, cleared the cob-webs and dusted them down and uploaded them

Please Note : The pics are taken with an old film based camera, so the pics will be of poor quality. Just look them as you would an old B&W movie!

“RIDING RULES THE HEART!!”

Cheers Guys!!

Just couldn't resist juxtaposing the two pics with an 18 year gap !
I've put it up in our latest trip log coming up shortly !

Hi RG,
Nice to hear from you. The black RX was a friend's bike (now sold) on which we did one of our first rides to Ooty (1994). The silver is the current RX on which did our many rides including the recent (Kerala 2010 and Goa April 2011).

Take Care & Best Wishes

^^^ Good that you're still riding the trustable Rx As for me, I've switched to the modern day 4Joke ; so you can't find me these days anywhere on Rx threads.

Awesome!! Pictures from almost 17 years back, phew. How things change in this time

I was actually living in Ooty (Wellington to be specific) in 1994
