Default How does It all started?

I was very much frustrated these days because of long and busy schedule and no leave or no exictment, LOL, i get just 2 leaves in last 60 days-Dushara and one Sunday. The work is going to make me Mad. I was planning to go out. Than I received call from my Collage, My Degree is ready. Hurray- At least one thing to celebrate. I have to visit to collect it. my collage is at Loharu-Govt Engg. Collage, Loharu. It is on Haryana-Rajasthan Border. I decided to ride Aravali Hills. Got 4 days leave from office and contacted some old (Gold) friends. Lol, everyone is busy!!! No matter, I am to ride, just ride.
I final the route and plan on 19 Oct, 2011 and collected all the stuff that I may need during the ride. Packed the bags and search my riding gears, which were unused for long time. The plan is to ride collage and than visiting Sriska Tiger Reserve and India's most haunted palace BHANGARH. the journey will be through Arivali Hills. All set for next Day. I am not getting Sleep, just waiting for the morning.

Default Day 1

I got up at 4.30am and crossed checked all the things. Take route prints and geared up for the ride. My sister borrowed my camera as there was Diwali fest in her School. I say bye to Mom and Dad and t the last movement my Dad asked “tu bike se ja raha hai?”
Me: yes, why?
Dad: wapas kab aayega?
Me: Agar aaj formalities ho gayi to raat tak warna kal aa jaunga.(Lol there are no formalities.)
Dad: Bike pe mat ja,le gaadi ki chabi or car le ja.
Me: No, it’s fine, actually Pintu is also coming and we will go by his car from Rohtak. (Pintu is my friend and our batch topper. His name always works)
Dad: Dekh bike tej mat chalana or phone karte rahna.
Me: Ok, bye.
Dad: Agar car me hi ja rahe ho to ye jacket gloves kyon? Waise to tu nahi pahnta? Kahin or to nahi ja rahe?
Me: Sardi ho gayi hai Paa, safty ke liye. Or kahi or jata to camera bhi le ke jata na.
Dad: Thik hai, dekh-ke jana.
Thank God Finally escaped. My dad doesn’t want me to ride long bike because he believes that two wheelers are not safe. My mom always know all the plans and she supports me.
It is 5.30, the bike is ready and I started. Get the petrol from the first petrol pump which is just one km from my home. Rs 1100 and tank is full. These petrol prices are going to kill Mango men one day. The cold breeze is blowing and I started my journey. Miles to go and all the fun is just mine.

I stopped at a dhaba at 7.00am. I have completed 110 kms. Have tea and clicked some pics of bike. Sorry for the picture quality because I didn’t have the Camera and all the pics were taken from my Phone.

Here is one more.

The journey continued and I hit my collage at 8.00 am. 160kms in 2.30 hours, Not bad.
The collage opened will open at 9and till than I hang out with some of my juniors and other Hostel members. The old memories came alive and the remembered the Killer Days. Collect the degree and ready to move at 10.00 am.
The real ride starts now. I headed towards Behror at NH8 which is about 120 km. I moved through Aravali Hills, and believe me it was just biking that will please you on this route. There is nothing special till Behror and the road is not quite good. But I mean only to Riding and just Riding. Hit the Behror at 2.00pm. yes, it took three hours to complete 120 km. Moved on NH8 and stopped for Lunch. The lunch was great and there I meet two riders who were riding to Jaipur.
Now I know that solo ride only mean discovering yourself. I through the maps away and decided to ride on my own. Forget the targets and decided just to ride, ride and only ride.
After riding about 80 kms on NH8, I turned for Sriska Tiger Reserve. Lonely roads and The Pulsar 180. I have no words to explain the feelings. Reached Sriska at 4.30pm. Entry was closed, but I came to know that there is shooting going for the Abhay Deol’s next movie. Abhay is my fev from DevD and decided to get the autograph from him. But the bouncers and security stopped me. Had a small coffee break.
And yes, there is only a few places for food and other stuff, I just got this one in last 50kms, may be I have missed some others.

This time Bhangarh is also closed. I decide to celebrate my graduation. I searched for hotel. There is no Hotel in this area, except one at Sriska Tiger reserve which was full due to shooting. I find a hotel about 25 kms from Sriska. These 25kms were awesome. Aravali hills are just beautiful and cold breeze make the riding a pleasant experience. Aahhaa Feel aa gi.
I checked in and rest for while. It is 7.00pm and the stars are sparkling in the sky. I headed towards the bar. The bar was good, classic Rajasthani style and hauka(Hooka). Though we have hooka at our palace but I never enjoyed it there. Have three beers and delicious dinner. Finally hit the bed at 10.

Default Day 2

I got up at 5 in morning, have some tea and leave for Sriska. The scenery was great and the morning was beautiful

Hit Sriska at 7.

Sriska Tiger reserve Opens at 8.00am and the best thing is you can explorer on Bikes. Bikes are allowed inside the premiss but you can't go off-road. If you want to go off-road, you can book jeep which will cost 1200 for six people. Sriska is a must visit palace and in October, it becomes more beautiful. Total silence and nature. I just loved the ride. Bike entry fee is just Rs. 30.

Though You can't go off road inside the park, but I really want to. Sorry for not following the rules. I got some very good sights.

One thing that may be important for you all. There are total 5 tigers in Sriska and all of them are located by transmitter. If you want to see a tiger, you should hire a jeep and consult the security and jeep driver or guide. he will get you to the point and 100% chances to see the wild beast. You can see other animals along with Tigers, like leoprad, wild cat etc.

the last point of Sriska is Pandav Paul- Hanuman temple in National Park. 21 kms away from entry gate. Be careful of the monkeys here. Some monster monkeys cutted my pillion seat very badly. I just hate Monkeys.
No phones working inside the park.
I completed Sriska Tiger reserve at 1.00pm. Now its turn to Bhangarh-India's most haunted palace.
Bhangarh is about 35kms from sriska and the road is not very good. It takers about one hour to complete 35kms. You will find a few humans during the ride. Empty roads and complete silence.
Road from sriska to bhangarh.

Hit Bhangarh at 2.30 pm. in middle I stopped for lunch. You will not find good hotels or dhaba in this area, so be prepared. Bhangarh is said o be most haunted palace in India, but I find nothing like that. Local folks told that there is nothing like Ghosts and these are only rumors. Well, the palace was good. Here are some pics.

The Ancient Market

Manti ji Ki Haweli

It is said that Bhangarh was totally crushed in one night after some incident. It is interesting that all the building are without roofs there, but the temples are as it is. There are some very beautiful temples inside the premiss.

I leave back at 6.00pm and reached Alwar at 8.30pm. The empty road was scaring. Decide to stay one more night as the next day is Sunday.
Next day I wake up at 6 and headed towards home. Sonipat is about 350 kms from Alwar and The P-180 completed the journey in 5 hours.
