Default company to jaipur....

hey everyone,

i am planning to enchash the chill of the winter , by making a two day tour to jaipur, possibly on the 5th of dec, before the eid holiday,

and then be home to celebrate the eid (i.a).

so if anybody else is interested for this small tour,
just be along.

although i have no fixed plans, but leaving on the 5th and returning by 7th , are the only options i have......

and yes, by the way i am from delhi...

thanks buddy,

will surely get in touch with you, once there.....

although, even i have my uncle working there, so it possibly might not be a problem(i.a), to tour there,

well the only small problem is the lack of riders.

hope to get some soon.........

Default jaipur done.......

wow,

the trip has been done(a.h),
the trip done by three bikers ,
dalwindar singh ,aka (ricky)
ashim , aka (ashu)
and me (umair),

i met ricky bhai on on tuesday near nehru place, for the first time, and we decided for the tour ahead ,
what we could decide at that time was only that we were leaving on saturday (6th dec)

the rest was left on TIME.....

we decided to meet near hamdard clg at 6 am ..........

a day before leaving i recieved a msg from him , that we he wanted to leave at 5 am.and when i called , he told that he along with ashu bhai , were planning it upto jaisalmer, as they had a four day leave, but i had to come back by sunday and prepare for the eid on tuesday.....

so i decided that i would ride with them upto jaipur, and then they will move further , and i would return back the next day , with my uncle who works there.

so next day , i woke up early , and was a bit late behind schedule...
just when i recieved a call from ricky bhai, who was waiting near g.k this time..

we met there by about 6 am,

and immediately left for the gurgaon expressway through the mehrauli route...
over there we waited for about 15 mins for ashu bhai to arrive, there i met him for the first time......

it was my third trip( the longest one yet),
ashu bhai's first trip, and ricky bhai had done a lot of trips before (including laddakh, which he did last sept).

so it was quite natural for us ( me and ashu bhai ) to rely on his experience.

he then decided that now we have to drive for about two non-stop hours, as they were planning it upto jodhpur on the first day , after me dropping out on jaipur.

We drove for about 1.5 hrs , and covered approx 150kms, as we rode fast, and then later ricky bhai , who was mostly leading stopped at a dhaba and signalled us to stop……..

Wow, it was great , as we got down from the bikes and settled , all of us were shivering……..
It was like cold had entered our bones, that was a great experience, and we could settle down only after having atleast two cups of tea. But unfortunately that dhaba didn’t had any arrangement for breakfast, so we settled with a few snacks….

After about half an hour we decided to move further , but agreed to keep the pace low to about 80 kmph this time, later we halted at only a junct to confirm out route, and then rode first towards the forts , which lie a few kms before the jaipur city…
We reached the amer fort by about 11am.
This was the best part of the tour , we drove our bikes upto the gates of the amer fort, (from the back side).

Then after walking in the fort for about 1.5 to 2 hrs we decided to move further, to explore the other forts in the vicinity..
but ricky bhai was not feeling well during this time, he had probably been hurt by the chill through which we drove in the morning
But still he was the most active one amongst us to lead , and take us to every point of the forts, where our bikes could possibly reach. (in the namgarh fort)

From the amer fort we moved towards the namgarh fort, which is on the hill top, so did a little bit of mountain biking as well, later we reached the jaigarh fort, but didn’t enter it, as we were getting late, and it was almost four pm by now.
And by this time ricky bhai and ashu bhai had decided to return the next day itself , due to the health of ricky bhai……
So I although earlier had a plan of returning the next day with my uncle, but I shifted on returning back with ricky and ashu bhai….

Now we zoomed towards the city, and my uncle told me to meet him at the sindhi camp bus stand,
But unaware of the way , we went there from inside the old city, and got caught in the traffic, ( it reminded me of the old delhi traffic)
Later we met our uncle and had lunch at about 4.30pm with him, later we went to his room,
But he had to leave for delhi that day itself…….[
So I went to drop him, and then after resting in his room for about 2 hrs, we moved out to find a hotel,

I decided to stay in my uncles room ,a ricky and ashu bhai , found a hotel near the bus stand, as the room was small on commodities to hold the three of us……

We were all so tired by then , that I came back to my room, and immediately went to sleep………
The least I could have in dinner was two fried eggs……..(while coming back from the hotel).

As it was already decided that the next day we will not hurry up for any thing, so accordingly I got ready and reached the hotel by about 8 am
There I got to know that ricky bhai had fever last night , but now he was fine….(a.h)

We decided to start moving for our return journey, but only after we visited some places in the city, (without halting for long).
So we first drove to the hawa mahal, although it was still closed by about 9 am, we took a few shots from outside and then went to see the jal mahal( which again can be seen only from the outside).

Again after a quick photo session , we moved forward to catch the highway…..
Just before catching the highway , we stopped for breakfast , and then started our return journey…..

We took two more halts in between , one for refueling , and the other for a short snack break ,(after we drove for about two hours).
The trip was coming to an end and when we reached the gurgaon expressway, it was then that we for a small time became a bit irresponsible, and turning our bikes into beasts ,and us into angles  we did a small responsible racing sort of a thing………

Later we all stopped for the goodbye session, it really was hard at the heart , that this expressway was again leading me into my delhi life and away from my friends and the enjoyement and freedom ……..

But the good thing was that we were going back to home, with sweet memories of the tour that we had done…..
And most importantly the next tour that we had planned almost 6 months from now, LADDAKH.

Then we happily parted for the bright touring future that we had in our hearts………….(i.a)

My trip details.
Total kms: (615km from my house and back to it)
Total fuel: (rs 850 , approx. 18 lts)
Other expenditures : ( might be approx. 3 hundered )
Any mishappening : (my bike slipped, while we were climbing for the amer fort, as the slope was made of exposed stones, and because I inadequately judged the turn, but to the rescue of my fate, there was a boundary wall, which supported me and prevented me from the fall.)(a.h)

the photos will be updated soon.(i.a)
