Finally, I get to see the man & the machine together - a terrific combo there!

And yes, it has been said 'n' times, but nevertheless a big, hearty congratulations for successfully completing, what according to me atleast is a HUGE trip! Moreover, riding 869 kms. at a stretch, that too on somewhat boring straight roads is not really my cup of tea, so kudos to you for that as well..

Also, you mentioned that the when you stopped to pay toll, the guy at the toll booth was looking at you like => ... Why so? Please explain, I am sure it would be quite a thing to laugh about! Perhaps, he couldn't fathom the sight of a two wheeled crazy guy riding for so long and hard!

Lastly, how did the P-220 perform? I am sure it did perform wonderfully, taking on whatever the roads or the rider had to throw at it, but otherwise, did it throw any kind of tantrums at you through this mammoth 2500+ kms. ride?

Loved the log, especially.Your log writing abilities can now be counted in the elite list of "awesome log posters"!! The return trip is always boring, no matter how hard you try you wont be able to make it interesting coz you know that the trip is soon going to end.It also feels good to see that you didn't face any major setbacks/hiccups during your entire trip. Now i can hear you resonating P220 rocks!!

And boy the Gixxer pick is awesome. How did it fare in the ghats??
Thanks dude! And yea...despite its shortcomings the 220 ROCKS!!! I have replaced the A150 with my 220 as the most exciting bike to ride now!

Totally agree with you about doing so many kms in a day on boring straight roads is well not just my cup of tea. But, no other way out, gotta reach home in time....so need to hop onto the GQ!

The day I left Bangalore, I was stopped at the toll gate while the other guy had run to get change, the other guy asked me with a sneer, where I am going. When I said Mumbai, his jaw dropped open. When I returned back, I don't know if he was the same guy or not, but he was kindda giving me a eyes wide open look wondering if I had landed from outer space or something.

This is my second long tour on the 220 and I can say that it again performed flawlessly all through. I din't face any issues due to the ride as such, but I did face another issue which actually was a long standing issue. I will post about that too.
