Yeah I did travel 2008 KM

December leaves were always meant to or planned to ride to north , like last two years this time also I could not make it.
I had enough leaves to make it, but its not yet time for it. My dear uncle and cousin passed away in last 3 months so it was not a good time to go. Infact my parents and relatives don't allow me to go. Its really bad time for our family. So I myself decided not to increase their heartbeat and instead go to my home town and stay there some days and to attend few of my class mates marriage and come back.

Rahul and Vinal was also planning to ride on 20th early morning. Since It was 41st day of demice of my Cousin Arjun on 19th eve, I had to start before them.

Dec 19 - Bangalore-Nangangode [170km] Good Roads

Started with my cousin by 3.30pm and with my cousin as pillion and reached nagangode by 6. I made sure my cousin had a big smile of excitement about biking by the time we took our first break near Ramnagar. We had one to Nagangode quite a few times in Car,
I am happy that he did had more fun this time, even though he didn't say it , I could make out from his face. We could easily zoom in 110-115 till mysore but after that It was too much of traffic till Nangangode. Last time I came here when I did the Ooty trip, my cousin Arjun treated me well , we had a fun that time. That time I didn't knew that it was our last get together had something else for him . All our relatives had come to attend the function. When I reached every one was already there.
Those who didn't knew me gave a ounce of advice to my mother not to allow me to ride like this on bike. But what to do... I don't need to explain any more u guys know what I had to say


Dec 20 - Nangangode-Wayanad-Calicut [200km] Good roads, ghat section and twisties.

Met Vinal[220], Rahul[ZMA] and my other friends in a scorpio (Ajeesh) near Nanjangode at 4.30 AM.Looks like they had a one hell of a ride chasing Scorpio nonstop Bangy-Nangangode in 1.45 mins
Rahul took a diversion to his home town Iduki thru Kovai.Followed the Scorpio till Gundelpet, I too felt thirst for more power... ZMA not enough to chase a Scorpio on straight roads. We need better bikes All manufactures out there, u guys listening ???

5'O Clock we entered forest, soon it was our turn in the twisty forest roads. Its not only the power one need also skill to stay ahead.There was no sign of scorpio light in the RVM . It was a very foggy morning and I felt quite difficult to ride with the crystal vision white light. This times also my eyes was scanning the black walls on both sides of the road for something . Bad luck didn't see a single elephant or bison. Infact I have not seen it for many months.

Soon we reached Sulthan Bathery and we had to wait for 10-15 mins for the scorpio to arrive.We all had a black coffee from there.
I hands were almost freezed and I showed to one of my friend who was in the car. She was asking why do u ride then like this ?
I just smiled at her
From there they (scorpio) took diversion to Kannur.Bichu- Vinals wife was in car till then, she joined us. We went ahead to our home town Calicut.Stopped for some photo session in between on the way and near the lakkidi view point. Reached vinals house had break fast and slept till noon.

Evening we went to Kannur in his car to attend one of our class mates marriage on 21st.Came back to calicut on 21 eve. Now two days of rest at my home. Met my old friends and had good time there.

Dec 24 Calicut-Mahe-Kannur [100 km] Road conditions are okey not that good.

It was Ajeesh (Scorpio guy) Marriage on 25th. I started to his home by 6.30 am. His house is in kannore.
One the way stopped near Mahe beach to take some snaps , that was the only good thing on this session.
On 25ht attented the marriage and evening came back to Calicut. For next 3 days again rest at home.
One night went for fishing along with by brother in law. Yeah we did get some prawns and other small fishes from the river near for our next day lunch. Fishing in the night from 10-1 was good fun and a new experience.
