^^^Actually my long awaited USofA visit is now into the final stages & I'll possibly be heading there in June. So the two rides that I had planned with xbhp Mumbai guys had to be dropped, as they dont fit into my schedule of '09
. So I'll be running hey-wire till then, as its the most crucial year for my career right now. I'll get done only by Sep '09, so a longgg tour will be the NEED-OF-TIME, & MIND as well!![]() I hope you can join me in this & you got a long term to manage finances & plan accordingly .

Spidey bro, first tip here: Bad timing for the ride. The roads are pretty bad in dry season, but it's the worst with landslides
and slippery tarmac (if you find one) during this season. I was planning for the same in April but was discouraged as none of my friends were ready to accompany me. One guy from Siliguri warned me about the road conditions; you can also read the BikeIndia Feb issue to know the condition. If you are game for the ride soon enough, I know someone who's heading there right away . If you are ready for April, let ME know and I'll give you company . I've got leaves from April 4th to 12th.

@MG: Plz dont confuse me with any other better ride
, like Sri Lanka! coz maybe I'll have a slip of PLAN then...![]() @Diffuser: Bro I was planning two big rides in next season only n they got cancelled, thats why I had planned this one, coz am very busy for rest of the year & most probably out of India. But I hope that you can accompany me n others for this ride! & as for the roads, the 3 guys I mentioned in the first post had done the same in Sep/Oct only... so better to follow a path rather than risking lives & the tour. . But before the xBhp server crash, there was another thread where riders had covered the state of Sikkim more properly. I would have loved to be part of that one. Freezing deserts, Apache and Caliber 115 among the rides, and the visit to the Gurudongmar lake...OMG, I'm drooling on my keyboard .

@Diffuser: I had been to Sikkim, so thats not a problem, I know it very well, was on a 14 day trek... Darjeeling-Gangtok-Manebhanjang-Sandakphu & Gangtok-Nathula-Harbhajansinghji... ultimate stuff on two legs, just this time it'll be on two wheels...
![]() Gurudongmar Lake: Awesome site & worth visiting, I knew about it as I had done rafting in teesta n its the source for the same river & I guess this place is enroute to Bhutan...
