Pokhran is just biggish village or smallish city and absolutely nothing to see there.

I had done Rajasthan ride in April. Pune - Ratlam - Ajmer / Pushkar - Jaipur - Bikaner - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Udaipur and back. 9 days Pune to Pune.

Vishwas jee I have reached the Day 4 of your log ... I am a fan of yours after I read your Leh travelogue ...

Another thing is you had a Ninja and mine is a bull ... So if you can do constant 120+, then what I can do is 90-ish ... And that makes difference in long rides like these ...

Not really. Only on three days, we did more than 600 km. Rest all days, the ride was much shorter.

Also due to bent rim, I could not ride my ninja much fast.

Is it advisable to travel Bangalore - Pune - Mumbai road by night.

Say 1.00pm start from Bangalore and Cross Mumbai by early morning ...

We stayed at a place called Hotel Haveli. Not a very good hotel. Just decent. Haveli hotel, Jaisalmer Rs.750/night A/c. Dx. Room

I personally would not advise anyone to ride in the night on any highway. If you start at around 5 am from Bangalore, you can easily reach Pune by 5 pm. If you bypass Pune, you can reach Mumbai (Thane) by 9 pm latest. Or take a breather at Pune, have dinner and then leave Pune around 8 pm, you would avoid peak time traffic in Thane and can cross it by 11 pm.

If it's Safe, then we can do it ... I really like riding during night, as it's less on traffic,crossings etc.

Also I will be reaching Bangalore by early morning only .. So have to take a nap before starting off
