Default Motorcycle covers

Hi,

I would like to know which are the most ideal covers for motorcycles. This would be to protect the bike from dust as well as rain. The normal covers that come are light and keep bloating if air blows from beneath them.

I had seen a thicker cover at a bike shop and the owner mentioned he was using it for his Suzuki GSXR and it cost him 2k.

Are there any other options or what is the best thing to use for covering our bikes.

I use the Bajaj covers available at some outlets to cover all my bikes. They are thin, bloat up with wind like a flying skirt, but there is a provision for tying it down underneath.

I use Oxford Rainex on my bike, cost me around $65. These cover your bike completely and there is a provision to lock the cover to your front and rear wheels. Dust proof, rain proof and kid proof. Here's a picture:

Looks fantastic. Is it available as universal size? Hope you'd bought from Japan/US.

Thanks. It is a size M, and I bought it from Melbourne last month. It is a British brand though.

Got it from Aus. It is not PVC, there are two fabrics used - the black colored one is coated polyester (normally used in sports jackets) with fabric lining, something like what is used in the lining of formal shoes. The silver colored fabric near the exhaust area is heat proof and is again polyester with a fire-retardant coating. That area also has fabric lining, but of a different texture. The bike is a Kawasaki Ninja 250R, but I plan to get another one for my RE in a couple of months.

i use the covers available from RelianceMart, from their automobile section. around 260 bucks, lasts me a good 8-10 months, then i go and buy a new one. You can clip it below your bike, and it fits all my bikes, from the RXZ to the T-bird, to the R15 to the ninja.
