I need to buy a pair of Gloves and Knee/Elbow Gaurds soon. Is the following gear available in India?
Alpinestars Raven Glove, Icon Field Armor Knee-Shin Guard/Elbow Gaurd.
Any thoughts/recommendation's would be appreciated!

You do get alpinestars gear marketed by PlanetDSG. Check out PlanetDSG : The only Indian store for Motorcycle Riding Gear, Accessories, Apparel and more...

Hi guys, I need to get some riding gear shipped from the US..the site is denniskirk.com. The merchandise is costing twice, when the shipping is included. Has anyone ordered from this site?

Also, someone please tell me how much in percentage do I have to pay in customs for importing from the US. I find stuff quiet cheap there, thanks to the closeout discounts.

Between Planet DSG and Cramster which would be a better one for Jackets? Waterproof with Armor?

I often order from Dennis Kirk | Frontpage & New Enough Motorcycle Apparel sells motorcycle jackets, pants and suits, boots, gloves, helmets, etc :: New Enough, LTD
Yeah, shipping is always expensive unless you're ordering in bulk.
The duty charged is 14% of the value of the your purchase + shipping.
For instance, i bought an AGV - XR2 a few weeks back from denniskrik for 199 usd, i paid shipping worth 50 usd on that, and another 1700 inr for import duty.
The shipping takes about 10-15 days off including idle time spent at the import warehouse.

Are you sure about the rate of Customs Duty? Is it a fixed rate or varies with parts?

Yes, i'm quite certain about the duty percentage. Its 14% for the apparel and gear, and 30% odd for spare pats.
