Nope he was using with tube as he has spoke wheels....... hard compound means less sticky.... less grip.... thats the funda.

He was using that same tyre model from Duro.... and that tyre was tubeless. But he used it with a tube coz he was using spoke wheels.

hello guyz..
dont u think 120 can reduce the grip on the bike which has a stock of 100.. eg. ZMA..!
i had tried 120 DUnlop Geo-Cruiser.. the grip was not that good as far as what i have experienced.. thats the reason i have installed a 110 MRF Meteor.. which is much better.. nice grip.. no tweaks required.. what i feel is 120 may lead in a slight flex on the circumference/edge of the tyre as the rim is smaller than the expected tyre, which may lead in reducing traction..
well , thats what my point of view is.. ! bigger tyre may look nice, feel grippy but actually wont wrap tightly to the rim..

I disagree:
It depends on the compound of the tyre.... Geo-cruiser is a pathetic tyre if you compare to MRF tyres (AFAIK-in terms of rubber compound used). Geo-cruiser does not wear out even after 25k kms (personal experience).... MRF tyres wear out in 15-20k kms. Hence the difference.

Just wait for some more ppl to comment on the performance of Duro tyres. Or check on some other international forums. In the mean while I will call up Sumit to ask him about his experience with the Duro.

i agree to the Geo-Cruiser part.. it being pathetic.. its sucked a big time man.. on wet surfaces.. this my new meteor seems fine.. very nice grip..
just for reference. its a hard compound

I guess all MRF tyres are same compound based.... its just that the new series Meteor (for off-roading) which has a different compound (and the grip style is pretty good to give a lot of grip on normal surfaces as compared to Geo-cruiser).
Anyway I guess its still better than Geo-cruiser.

Haven't had a long term experience on other MRF tyres, but aren't the MRF Zapper-C/Vyde comparatively softer to other tyres in the Zapper series? <Barring the R15 tyres ofcourse!>
