Talking "3D Designers Hideout" Thread!

3D Designers Hideout!

From now on, this thread would be hopefully used by 3D Designers to post their creations. They should be related to Designing softwares, Bikes or Engines in any way. Thanks!

Guys, 3D Designing of a bike is possible in various softwares such as 3D Studio Max, Alias Maya 3D, etc.

I have recently received training & after that used Maya 3D to make myself an ideal bike according to my ideas. I would like to share them with you.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Bajaj Pulsar 400

History: First, I was making our own HH Karizma. I made it a little then I thought why not make it the Ninja 250..... Then, YZF R1's idea struck me! and so, The Confusion Insect stung me inside (you know where!)

Finally, I decided to make my own bike - The Pulsar of the future.

399cc Twin Liquid Cooled 4 Stroke Engine.

So, here it is. I have posted only 1 image for now:-->

This is just a Teaser. I will post more images here AFTER BOOKMARKING ... All Kindly support my topic.... Thanks!

Let more images come ... This bike has features you won't believe!

Topic Approved.

I vividly remember Synn posting some of his wonderful 3D creation in such a thread when the 'old' xBhp was alive. Would appreciate if he can do so here, again.

@all: Kindly use this thread to share your 3D models.

Thanks Aryan bro for approving my topic! Synn bro, you are welcome to post your creations...

Bajaj Pulsar 400

As per my promise, Here are more images :-->

Look at the Indicators - and please don't think Ducati while you do so. and of course, clip ons are there ...

Items are very detailed. See the side stand+ Spring. Also see the chain, sprocket & Rear Disk brake.

& Look at the Double Toe Shifters. Their Advantages:-->
  • Foot movement Reduced by 90%. Your left toe/ Shoe goes between the 2 plates. Nudge down for downshift & up for upshift. Easy, right?? Even a Commuter can use this shifter with ease.
  • Upper Toe Shifter can be adjusted according to shoe Size!
  • Upper Shifter is adjustable to zero size even if you want it classic way (at level zero, upper shifter will be touch to lower one, making it a single normal toe shifter)

This is the 399cc Twin Cylinder liquid cooled engine. It is a basic one as I didn't have much data about Inline Twins.

and of course, it has single spark plug per cylinder. This is 2015 mate!

One more Pack of images about this bike, then I'll move on to next. Meanwhile, lay down your comments on my Ideas!

nice work but anti-alias your renderings and get some metallic textures done. they look like screen shots .. it's better to render them.

The polygon count is far too low man .. any reason ?? slow comp ? Increase the count if you have the processing power. It'll leave the images way smoother.

@ spiderweb: Well, I live in Ajmer. I have a lot of ideas that I can "give for free", provided only that I want them implemented in a Production Bike.

--
@ Archibaby: Ok, I'll render them better. They were kind of recently made you see. & Bingo! Low Processing power of my laptop is a factor! 1.6 GHz with 512 MB RAM with XP running.

But, I think I can increase the RAM ... So, I'll get it done soon. Thanks guys for replying.

Keep commenting guys, I would invite special comments on the "Double Toe Shifter" that I showed ...

Ah! There cannot be a professional who's passionate about his work so much and doesn't have a pet project that he likes to unwind with! I'm sure you have something that you work on which won't get you jailed for the publicity it gains, so post if you have something like that

Whoa. You manage running all that software on that configuration? You impress!

As far as the toe shifter idea goes... well.. why bother with two toe shifters and the subsequent mechanisms required if you can get the job done with one? The advantages aren't stratospheric which I'm sure you've also noticed

BUT ... keep the flow of thoughts going... one crazy pointless idea isn't the end of it, it prompts you to think more and finally you might hit upon a goldmine. Good luck!

Like the others said, you have to render the models, make them look awesome.

It was quite some time before when our good ol' synn set the standards by posting some very beautiful renders.

I'm posting the links to just his deviants here. Not sure if he'll appreciate posting images directly without letting him know

The Bayonet

Synn modelled this from a design made by a friend who wanted to customize a Bullet for another friend.

The Royal Enfield Bayonet. by ~first-synn on deviantART

The SphiMX

Bike India readers might be familiar with this model. You should really ask him what inspired him to do this!

The sphiMX - rear 3 quarters by ~first-synn on deviantART

The Bajaj Trigon

Think its been a couple of years since he modelled this. The thought process was mighty awesome. Apart from making the bike look tenfold good than a normal Pulsar he also made sure every bit of it was practical. The fact that it was well appreciated by Mr. Ravi Darad, Head of Design, Bajaj Auto is worth a mention.

@ the slayer: Well, I will update my RAM to 1 GB & I'll also render it soon ... Reg. 2 Toe Shifter, I used it to minimize foot movement, for road & racing both & still make it look sporty...

STILL, if the Owner needs 1 shifter, he can "SELF ADJUST" upper shifter to touch lower one, so that the 2 shifters become 1, if a guy needs it desperately ...

So, where's the disadvantage? In fact, I say is there even 1 "real" disadvantage, apart from resistance to change? Do read my text "Advantages" in the 4th post carefully & think about it ...
