And mayb mine are changed to that cause the change happened in arnd 2009. So Joel can u put a bit of light on this issue of mine.

Thank you.
It totally depends on sprocket configuration. DAs you mentioned you did a total chain sprocket change, What are the max speeds you were achieving before the change? Which bike's chain sprocket did you put in? If you are not sure then please count the rear sprockets? Now with what you have mentioned i m guessing it this way that you have put in post 2007 model uni's sprocket which have 43T at rear compared to 42T at rear on pre 2007 models. Doing this the acceleration would definately increase and top end will reduce. Sprocketing makes a lots of diffrence even with the change of 1 teeth. If you want better top end or better cruising speeds in other words you should change the rear with 42T.

has someone tried the ambition rear sporket on unicorn?....is it direct fit?
how much difference will it made in accleration and top end...

current 4th genration unicorn with rear 43T sporket have 12.6km/1000rpm gear ratio so what could be expected after changing the sporket...

Well the ambition has 38/14 combo. It would be more than 14km/1000rpm. As the final drive ratio would be decreased. I do not recommend putting ambition's 38/14 sprocket. As the low end and mid range torque of the unicorn will fade away. moving from 43T to 41T is justified, but from 43T to 38T on a stock bike is just not justified, The engine would knock in 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th gear or perhaps you will need to keep the clutch half pressed and you know jus how much pain it would be drive like that. Check the shine's 41T rear as it would be direct fit to your unicorn. It would give u approx 13.3km/1000rpm.

None of HH models have 41T rear. Even I am searching for 41T rear for my CBZ. Ambition's all of them has 38T rear. Check this out you may find it useful

Default Sprocketing for RX and Shogun

Guys,

Can you please help me with the sprocketing of RX 135 4 speed and Shogun.
Need to increase the top end and mileage.

Is it possible by any means to increase the mileage even by a bit in the city?

I'm new..

Default sprocketing idea for Rx 135 4speed.

Hi, i own a rx 135 4speed. Its sprocket has worn out. so am goint to change it. Between I came to know something called sprocketing. What kind of that can be done to my bike? What's the advantages and disadvantages of sprocketing? Or is it better to fit it with new stock sprocket. Thanks in advance.

I was looking to sprocket my HH Hunk actually. Stock is 14/43 so 3.07. A viable option is the Honda CB Dazzler's 15/42 setup so 2.8. I will be changing the chain too to the Dazzler's O-Ring Chain along with the Sprockets. Will this be a direct fit and moreover, how much lag in acceleration can I expect?
