ive only ridden one, but a viewpoint... hell why not...
SUZUKI HAYABUSA(2010) - the most recognizable bike. And also reviewed to be quite friendly for first time learners. HONDA CBR1000RR(2010) - The most safest in terms of features ( ABS), and most comfortable in traffic and general handling. YAMAHA R1(2010) - The new crossplane crank does improve the low end of the bike. Again a very recognizable bike, but more for its higher end grunt than overall driveability. I would recommend the busa for the image/performance, and the R1 for the looks and the mad bike it is. The Honda is my personal favourite, so i would want minimum bikes on the road... ( keeping mine exclusive when i get it! )

Go for R1 if its damn urgent, 2nd best alternative will be forthcoming GSX1000R. No doubts about this Suzuki bcoz Hayabusa is definately a Legend compared to three.
Further if u can stretch a bit & wait a more, new VFX from Honda is a bike from future - a direct Navi from AVATAR u can say !!!!

depends what you want A Hayabusa is the safest bet for newbies and will delight pros alike, going by palashroy's criteria, my vote goes for the Hayabusa followed by 1000RR and R1 if i were in your shoes, would beg/borrow and test-ride 1000RR/R1 to my satisfaction, the 'busa doesn't feature in my scheme of things boils down to specific rider and their needs ^^jd-agree

I will Buy a R-1 anyday given a chance to buy SBK's , If at all i wish to buy another one it would be The Blade CBR1000r . Busa in my opinion doesn't have the looks as the other two.
all These are around 14 lakhs

what will u use the bike for?
posing+ touring-BUSA a bit of commuting+touring= 1000rr hooliganism and general pant wetting stuff= R1 but the 1000rr is a safe bet..it is like comfortable pair of jeans ..wear it to a club or lounge at home it fits the role.. but from what i have read the r1 is pretty uncomfortable in the city the the speed differences donot count as i am sure u wont be using your bike for competitive sports
