I too am confused between these 3 bikes. My dad wont allow anything above 125 cc so pulsar is out of question but still istn't the gladdy's engine a bit outdated? And I have also heard that Yamaha offers very poor service. I went and checked out the twister and it looks better than the gladdy and also gives better milage but gladdy can give you power. Not that twister is a weakling because I have heard guys say that the twister can go all the way upto 80-90 km/hr. Is this true?

I own a twister. Apart from the gearbox (specific to my bike), every thing is good. Glad has more power, so if pickup is important to you, go for it. However, considering the recent price rise (fuel), Twister will give you better mileage. Also, Honda has more service centres, so you might want to consider this also. The Twister essentially uses the new Activa engine. What is the on-road price of Glad? Twister (disc + elec start) = 59.5 K Shine (disc + elec) = 62 K Stunner (no disc , elec start) = 61,000. I find the fixed fairing irritating. Also consider the Glamour (HH 125CC). You cant go wrong with the twister. |

Hey buddy, whatever you are considering now costs around 60k.. you get P135LS in the same range.. so if possible try to convince your father and get P135LS. Why not go for the best available in your budget?? Also, the mileage figures reported for Twister are not very encouraging.. couple of my friends have got it, even after second service they are getting around 50 mark, which I feel is low for 110cc bike. On the other hand I'm getting 55+ consistently..with P135. One more point is that it's lighter, which makes it a breeze in traffic.. and of course it's a 4-valve engine.. which was the single factor that influenced my decision.

For u pulsar 135 ls would be the best option. style factor, good mileage(city:56 to 58kmpl),4 valve engine(13.5 bhp power),and most importantly it is around 60k rs. It's a great deal ..go for it... |
