Good that you took a test ride.. Pulsar's seating position is certainly sporty.. there is no offense in saying that!! enjoy your ride..

Will be booking CB Unicorn this Saturday and be delivered to me in around 25 days as the sales person says. On-road Rs. 71,466/- , its without number plates, engine guard(common honda u need to give atleast these!).

Need to buy it from outside as Honda prices for these are sky high. Does, anybody know shops for good quality engine guard for Unicorn?
    Thanks,
    Ramki.
First of all Congratulations buddy, perfect choice. I'm sure its gonna be a great long termer.
And did you wrote Rs. 71,466/- On-road.
I had my 200 on road in that price.
Did you checked the other showrooms at your place??

Yes, the prices are same here in Bangy for Unicorn in fact Pulsar 150 has an on-road price of Rs.73,6xx/- something so Unicorn costs less than that!

Between here are some of pics (cam) i took at the showroom

On the other hand i'm deeply disappointed with Bajaj. Tried out my cousins' Pulsar 150 bought a month ago. Now that Bajaj have started giving EUROGRIP tyres instead of MRF Zappers for both front and back and heard from him that it skids like hell (the point i considered not to have in my next bike).

    Regards,
    Ramki
have you confirmed, is he keeping the tire pressure correct as per manual?
I guess 26 for front and 29 for back.

    None Taken here!!!

On certain days where you're a bit tired on a straight stretch of road, you're sure to FALL ASLEEP a few times... It's that smooth, try some sporty riding when you're a little sleepy... I know because I did fall asleep once on a Unicorn.

Need to buy it from outside as Honda prices for these are sky high.

It's a premium you have to pay for better quality... When it comes to Reliability and Durability, it's Japs all the way!!!

i am planning to take my pulsar 150cc ug2 on a long trip to the hills
my two close cousins will be accompanying me on their r15 and enfield350.

my bike is not in the best of conditions and needs a lot of work done on it.
    1. its wiring and battry went kaput some time back coz of the hooters, blinkers, horns i had added. thus i am thinking of converting the whole electrical system(headlights) to dc
    2. also the cruising speed will be an issue as it wont be able to match those two bikes cruising in the 80-90's very easily so thinking about some sprocketing changes(sprockets n chain are 10k kms old so it was needed too)
    some other
any other suggestions would be welcum....ass i want performance boosts too without losing on the fuel economy as it give only 40kmpl

    Hi guys,
I'm selling my bike TVS fiero F2 off. Its a 2003 Sep model good condition. Done 68K. What amount can i expect? Honda dealer is quoting 15-16K whereas some other local mechanic is quoting 17-18K. Is it so less, as i was expecting around 21-22K!

    Thanks,
    Ramki

    dear hotshot..

150 is quite capable of cruising at 100 for whole day.. just need to take care of it..

use god engine oil(Gulf, Motul), spark plugs(NGK), good servicing, proper tuning, good tyres and basic points.. and it can easily reach 110..

change in sporkets and all i think is the last thing you should try after your bike is performing on peak..
